- Never thought we would see this car again, let alone bring it back to the collection it was sold from less than 6 months later! It's a strange reunion, but we are thrilled to be able to drive this little yellow rocket Type-R clone again. Plus, we run it with a real Integra Type-R at the end. Turn on captions for this one to catch all the dialogue, since our audio was not the greatest.

Thanks so much for watching! Stay tuned for more films detailing the restoration process, plus various other Hondas and Acuras we rescue.

Funny, my first thought was, that steering wheel needs to be oem lol. Welcome back cloneR.
i mean aside from the Vtec kicking in i didnt hear an exhaust leak. But when Vtec kicks in, Its completely normal for the exhaust to open up and peak. I dont know what your knowledge of Vtec is but look it up if you dont know
No he's right about the exhaust leak . I have had the same thing happen with my 6 speed CL when the exhaust has had a leak
The mic we were using kept peaking, so it's hard to tell just how loud that leak was in the video, but it was almost ear-shattering in person. The real (all stock) ITR we drove at the very end is like a night and day difference.
my 95 civic when it hits 3K RPM it gets significantly louder. I have full stock exhaust system. thinking there may be an exhaust leak somewhere. did you find the leak on your Integra?
This was different, it was a very loud aftermarket exhaust that was also leaking. The owner has since put on an OEM exhaust, and it sounds much quieter now.
