5:02 There was a recall on the gas cap section.. My '87 DX needed a patch to be welded over the rusted bits. As you say, this area, in pristine condition, IS rare. Thanks, Eric, for showing us this gem of car.

My '98 Civic coupe had the same exhaust hole and messed up sunroof shade. I reupholstered it along with the headliner before it sold. Overall, very nice Si you have. These have common issues with dist gasket leak and vtec gasket leaks, an age thing I think.

Notes: - Step 8: those are 8mm bolt heads for the ignition coils - Step 18: the edit was a bit fast, but the vacuum lines to disconnect for the High and Low Diaphragms on the back of the manifold are 8 & 2; also disconnect line 7 going behind the throttle body to the Air Boost Valve

The thing I really like about all these Honda's and Acura's is that they were kept all original and not moddified.

Back in the day, on G2 Legends, I had the timing belt/water pump down to 3 hours (sitting on a driveway, no power tools) Love these motors. If money were no object, I would love to build a C32A1 as powerful as the block could stand. Which, if memory serves me right, is north of 400hp.

The 1989 Accord is my all-time perfect dream car, there is absolutely nothing I do not like about this car, and I love everything about it, i remember since I was 10 years old, I was drooling over it when I saw it on the streets.

So many memories in this Honda accord as a kid

my 95 civic when it hits 3K RPM it gets significantly louder. I have full stock exhaust system. thinking there may be an exhaust leak somewhere. did you find the leak on your Integra?

i mean aside from the Vtec kicking in i didnt hear an exhaust leak. But when Vtec kicks in, Its completely normal for the exhaust to open up and peak. I dont know what your knowledge of Vtec is but look it up if you dont know

Season 6 is so good. Arguably more mellow but just as good as the first 3 seasons.

Beautiful! Take off those rubber trim pieces around the rear wheel wells. They are the reason so many 3rd-5th gen Hondas rusted back there.

Nah.... older Honda's are where it's it. They had their car designs at it's peak in the late 80's to early 00's. After that, their designs just got ugly. I don't know, it's like they just ran out of ideas and started making random 'slash' designs on their cars with no rhyme or reason to it...... just doesn't have that perfect look that Honda's are knowm for, where they just feel right looking at it from all angles. Not really digging these newer Honda's at all..... I'm sure they are nice cars to drive but, just really isn't my style. Especially, how overpriced they are now too. But to each their own.
