    I just now subscribed and wanted to say that you have helped me want to make another Fleetside, so I told my wife it's all your fault! I rebuilt a '66 C20 ground up, sand blasted the frame, shell blasted each and every panel, welded in a new floor and rocker panels, primer and painted her, lastly rebuilt the wood bed which was very time consuming but EVERY minute was worth it when completed! Unfortunately I was in my early 20's and didn't have the cash to get the motor, transmission and the suspension I wanted to get. By the way your black beauty is a knockout and you're doing a great job filming and explaining what you're doing as you're doing it, seems like juggling, something I damn sure couldn't do! Great channel, and I cant tell you how badly I wish youtube existed when I built mine!!

    Where did you mount your air filter that came in the box with your management system amd the 2 water filters that came with the pumps??

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Black water filters go between tank and compressor. The white one goes on the back side of the tank between the Airlift 3p and tank n

    Just subscribed. Awesome videos. Question for you. My 1965 c10 right blinker will not light up neither does right blinker on the dash. I hear the clicking sound but no lights. Everything else works fine. I even bought a new turn switch with same result. Can you please advise. Thank you

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you taken the light out and tested if it’s getting power to the hood? If not, it could be the connection from the hood to the fire wall.

    Is the manifold mounted to the gas tank?

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The manifold holes lined up with the gas tank bolts on top so I bolted it on there. I did have to modify the bracket when I switched over to in tank pump.

    Hey bro..nice video, I have shocks on the back of my truck..is it really necessary to have shocks in the front in your opinion? Thanks in advance.

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely need shocks in the front and back. That’s what makes the air ride stable instead of the “floating” feeling without shocks.

    I have a 61 apache 10 that is a frame off restoration. I plane to bag the rear and air it manually for now. Where would you suggest getting the bags, drackets, air line and fittings? Do you reommend 2500 or 2600 bags? 1/4" or 3/8" air line?
    Thanks John

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I can help you get everything you need if you shoot me an email. thesimplec10@gmail.com
      I recommend 2500 for the back, 3/8 line, and Airslamit parts.

    What is that blue wire? Does it have to do with the air ride?

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  ปีที่แล้ว

      That blue ground was for the in line fuel pump that I removed.

    Did you "pancake" your crossmember?

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. This is spindles and cupped lowers only.

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      On 22s you need 2.5 inch spindles and cupped lowers to get 2 inch from the ground. That’s the lowest you can go because the control arms hit before the crossmember. To get that extra inch you have to get a dropmember, z the frame, or section the crossmember. All those things were too much for me to handle since I’m new at this and try to stay on a budget.

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have $1,400 in my set of 22 transports. That includes buying them, painting them, tires, and centercaps with clips.

    • @frente2zapatista
      @frente2zapatista 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SIMPLE.C10 Quick question for clarification purposes……….The lowers on this truck are not cupped, right ? You just cut the bump stop to get the extra drop.
      Cupped lower control arms ( cut the hole in the lower and weld the pocket for the bag to seat in )

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is correct. No association has cpp lowers with the bumpstops removed. My green 63 has cupped lowers. Cpp lower control arms with the bump stop removed is the equivalent to cupping as far as function. In my bagging on a budget video I explain the reason behind cupping. Either way will drop your truck down as low as you can go if you have spindles. (Apart from a drop member, zing the frame, or sectioning the crossmember)
      Thanks for the question. Feel free to ask anything like that to get clarity.

    What line do you use?

    • @SIMPLE.C10
      @SIMPLE.C10  ปีที่แล้ว

      I use 3/8 line from airslamit. But most 3/8 lines are the same throughout companies.
