The bass is the amazing Geoff castelucci (who is friends with Tim the bass from home free (I would suggest watching voiceplays "sing" which Tim along with many others make a guest appearance) Eli was the bald guy . J none was the one who played Sebastian . And Layne is the beatboxer . Recently voiceplay have had lots of guessed appearances because one of the members earl left the groupe . I would 100% suggest: voiceplay: oogie boogie song in which Geoff is the lead . Sing which has many guessed appearances (if you turn subtitles on for that song the subtitles tell you who all of the people are as it plays when they appear on screen ) and there Moana medley feat Rachel potter / Rachel is a very good friend of voiceplay and is in many many .... Many of there videos
Bass is Geoff Castellucci and i recommend Voiceplay -Oogie boogies song from nightmare before Christmas to see his range or him solo with headless horsemen.... 😉
Almost all the members of VoicePlay have worked with Disney and Universal over the years so they come by the staging, costuming, acting naturally. Geoff (bass) is Ursula, J None (baritone) is Sebastian (also part of Flotsam and Jetsam - the electric eels), Eli (tenor - name rhymes with jelly) is Scuttle (and also the other electric eel), Layne (beatboxer) is Chef Louis. Rachel (guest vocalist) plays Ariel and once Ursula casts a spell on her, she becomes Vanessa. More VoicePlay you might enjoy: Hoist the Colours, Dragonborn Comes Skyrim, Oogie Boogie's Song, Queen in 5 Minutes, Boy Bands in 5 Minutes.
Voiceplay are a bit different from the other acapella groups by emphasising the Play aspect, though not always. Their harmonies are amazing and Geoff Castellucci's solo bass voice videos are equally good. Singing like that takes alot of hard work. On top of natural talent.
You’re right Geoff played Frankenstein at Universal Studios Amusement Park for years. Layne was behind the scenes at Disney. Rachel was on our X-Factor came in 3rd and went off to Broadway, she collaborated with VP but not a member.
That was Fun! You should see some of their other stuff especially Oogie Boggie's song from Nightmare before Christmas. Geoff Castellucci is the Bass but has a great range too!
Voiceplay is from Orlando. Several members sang at amusement parks for yrs to support themselves. Geoff is bass. J. None is "Sebastian", Eli (pronounced Ellie) is Flounder, Layne is the beatboxer/Chef. Rachel Potter guests on many of their songs. I'm always happy when she does.
New sub for more Voiceplay and Home Free please. It is a pleasure to watch young people like you enjoy a capella music. The bass Geoff has over a 4 octave range. Home Free's bass is Tim and he has over a 5 octave range. Both groups are friends.
VoicePlay is based out of Orlando. The members all worked at theme parks for years. Rachel Potter was a contestant on AGT or Idol. VoicePlay tends to do more theatrical productions. All of the singers are extremely talented.
If you are interested in seeing some of the behind the scenes stuff, the Charismatic Voice actually got to interview their Beatboxer (Layne). It's long, but super cool! Loved this reaction! I hope you do more!
I’ll throw my insight, so two of their members, Geoff (the bass) and layne (the best boxer, also a baritone when singing), arrange the music, and then they send their parts to the others, and they send their parts back about a week later, they do take after take until they get it how they want, and they do have to sing so they sound balanced, you can only do so much in post. Geoff Castellucci (the bass) has videos on his channel and he has talked about how he arranges their videos. Hope this in informative! I’m sure I’m missing something. They also do in fact do stuff in studio, which actually is just at their homes, Geoff has a keyboard and mic where he records his part, they have many layers of parts and stuff. It’s fascinating, the charismatic voice did an interview with Layne about how he arranged the moana medley, it’s long but very worth it.
Because it sounds like you're gamers and you like this group, you should try (if you haven't already) "The Dragonborn Comes" from Skyrim. Of course, most of their song covers are excellent. And, they jump many genres. Plus, the low bass singer, Geoff (Jeff) Castellucci has his own channel where he uses his 5-octive range immaculately.
Both of you will quickly find out that VP and esp Geoff have a hardcore fanbase. The more reactions of their stuff you do, the more views and potential subscribers you'll get. Also, plz don't confuse Geoff for Tim. Come on, guys. They competed against each other on The Sing-Off (S4). I will say Geoff definitely has some twang in him though. One of my friends compared his voice to Josh Turner, which I think is fair but Geoff hands down puts Josh's range to shame as well as most other singers.
Thanks for 50K!! Hope y’all enjoy!! Subscribe for more!!

Warriors is an intense song from them. It really pulls you into it
Hello... did you do any Voiceplay reactions after this?
Their 2022-2023 collection of songs have been insane... choose your genre and go for it!
Ah yes, Geoff is very very gifted, you should react to his vocal range (the 2021 one if possible by p js)
I was also bing reminded of pentatonix when I was listening to this

They are actually friends with Homefree and did a crossover video once.

Pentatonix, Home Free and VoicePlay are often referred to as The Big 3 of modern acapella
