As a woman of 55, everything was great till 53 (when menopause hit).
I've always been active and ate well, BMI of 20-21 my whole life, and no depression.
Then 53. My only menopause symptoms were weight gain (like overnight of 15lbs) 😮 and anxiety. Started on HRT but didn't solve those two issues.
If I could go back and speak to my 49 year old self I would say to weight train 3x week for 40 minutes and eat a lot more protein (120g/daily).
And be positive! This is the time to adore your body and take care of it. 🥰

Thanks for sharing! That's exactly the same advice I would give my 49-year-old self :) Exercise and eat protein. I really regret not doing it right. Unfortunately, I was captivated by the idea of "cleansing" and forgot what food is essential for life. Nevertheless, I have a lot of activity in my life, keeping my BMI effortlessly at 20-21. My menopause came this spring when I turned 53. I just lost all of my progesterone-the level dropped to almost zero-and felt terrible. No weight gain yet, but I have drastically reduced all carbohydrates. I replace progesterone (tried cream and capsules, both work for me) and wait until it's over. How are you now?

What I learned in this video:
    1. Gratitute walking - love walking! Find nice area to go to walks as much as possible.
    2. Hydrate - goes without saying.
    3. Supplements (I am taking Mg and B Vitamin complex, sometimes Potassium)
    4. Try new things (trying to learn French but I need more than that)
    5. Resistance training (I do cardio which probably is not great)
    6. Move as much as you can
    7. Epsom salt bath (I have Mg spray, does that work too?)
    8. Mindset (this can be difficult if you are suffering from depression or anxiety)

Cardio is good..twice a week do sprint 20sec run as hard as you can, then rest 3 min or 4..repeat 4 times twice a week! Get that hartrate up

I turned 40 in September and I kinda just stopped doing all the things that made me feel good. I made a promise to myself to quit vaping , meditate , journal, strength/ rebound/ walk and hike ,
I will definitely add an Epsom salt bath to my nighttime routine ❤

When I turned 40, I was still smoking, still had all the “baby weight” (and my kid was 6 😂), and lived in sweats. My hair was falling out. I felt old and ugly. With a lot of intention, now at 43, I feel better and look better than I ever have! 40 feels like to late but it can be just the beginning! Yo got this!

Tracy I’m so glad I found you!! I’m 41 and starting to really feel the effects of hormone changes. Your videos have made me feel so much more comfortable with this and I’ve even started embracing it. Thank you for normalizing menopause and perimenopause and showing us that we can still look and feel amazing no matter what stage of life we are in! ❤

I’m so happy to hear that! Embracing these changes is such a powerful step, and it’s wonderful that you’re already feeling more comfortable with it all. 💕 Hormone shifts can be challenging, but you’re absolutely right - we can still feel amazing and thrive at every stage of life!

Make sure you're using Bob's Red Mill baking soda instead of Arm & Hammer, the latter contains aluminum. Also adding a cup of Borax, yes, Borax, is very detoxifying!

Having your "gym" in your home office is the best! I used to obsess and not take breaks, but now I make a point of taking off 45 minutes in the evening. I have my yoga mats and weights right there. It's great to do shorter breaks to stretch during the day.

@@TracyCampoliI use to use both herbatint and naturatint. Then I started using henna instead for some time. Then I started back with dyes and started using naturatint . I was wondering which of the two were more natural if they even are. I saw an interview with Cara Brotman(?) a raw foodist. She said she uses natutint. Because she’s very into health I felt like she probably researched it and fount naturatint to be a bit better. But it’d be nice if you were to compare the two and give your opinion if one is more natural then the other
