I joined as picker in a warehouse 3 days back..Struggling to gain speed and stack boxes with different heights and widths..I end up having tall columns in one section and very short columns in other..Struggling as of now
Depends on the building. In perishable I wear long sleeves with hoodie over that. Jogger pants with carthart bibs. Dry goods in summer t shirt and shorts. Winter long sleeves and joggers

I have a few images of my old order selector pallets that I build for Albertson DC in Irvine CA.
In training we got hammered with the ol' "interlock your pallet" and never column, it's nearly impossible with the variable sized boxes. 🤣
It's definitely something you want to make a habit of but new selectors will try to lock in everything they possibly can, and that's not good

3 days in speed should not be on the radar. Learning the basics is a necessity

Walmart has lined pants which work for the freezer and then a teeshirt and sweatshirt. You move all day so keep that in mind
