It's actually a rap song that popularized the phrase. It's called Smile Living my Best Life. A comedian named Lil Duvall made the song. "I ain't going back and forth with nobody, I'm living my best life." The point is regardless of what's going on, im going to enjoy myself.
I turned 60 in October and I am loving me. Its all about me now. I say what I think. I say no to grown kids! Its all about me and my hubby. I still look good, feel good. When I happen to mention I'm 60 now my coworkers jaws drop! Black don't crack! If I could only embrace the gray hair. I keep dying it.
Keep dying it until you are done dying it. I am approaching the beautiful age of 50 In February, and I have a few grays that I’m not ready to embrace yet. I have been walking everyday on my treadmill and stopped eating after 7pm and already I see my body changing. Keep enjoying 60!

I feel this program always brings up a painful past of a guest. Always. So unnecessary. I can see the discomfort on guests faces. Sometimes old news is not news anymore. It's not journalism to me. A 3 minute chit-chat is not the platform to go deep. Guests are coming on to talk about now...maybe future. Unless they have written a book where they want to address something. This is not 60 minutes.

I totally agree too and I hate it. I don't know if it's done for shock value or the pressure of being "the consummate journalist". Either way, I'm over it, and I don't tune in to this show as often as I used to. I really felt for Vanessa having to sit through that yet again.🙄
