Man Isayama has the biggest balls.. He wanted to end the manga in a certain way and he did.. He didnt gave into the pressure of some fans and ended the story the way he wanted even if it ended up splitting the whole fanbase... I have so much respect for a person who can do that..Man I really loved the ending... Sucks to be you guys who didnt like the ending..
An Oppressed becoming an oppressor. It is quite common in real life. Attack on titan showed this actually. Its not just an anime. It’s the testament of human behaviour. Idk why people hate the ending so much. It’s so exceptional.
Bless you. At the cross of the matter it was Either Paradise is wiped out or the world. Watching season 3 final 3 episodes, from the basement reveal to the very last episode, painted a very depressing and completely sad situation. For all the violence Paradise faced, it was nothing compared to the fact that everyone wants you dead. Not only that, the real reason the island was treated was for mineral. And they lied about it, not only that, Willy had the guts to declare war on Paradise. My blood still boils when I hear that who speech of his. He knew the fucken truth, yet attacked and provoked a racial cleaning, I am sorry but to claim the rest of the world is innocent? No-one is innocent in this, it is just war, plain and simple. When Eren in the alternate timeline left, the Island was destroyed, a whole race was wiped out, and it ended. So you are telling me that you would be ok if The United Kingdom (England) was treated that way, that the UK won't use all her Nukes to destroy the world? No nation on earth, not even USA will lay down without fighting.
Oh this is an interesting deep dive. I personally assumed with how the story was presented, grim dark, it would have an equally grim dark ending, so i wasn't surprised haha.
Eh, From the outside perspective it's easy to choose, do you want a small innocent island to die for doing nothing wrong or do you want most of the rest of the world to die both innocent and not. That's an easy choice from an outsider, it's the trolley delima, Choose the one innocent island to die over the many. However lets simplify it and instead put yourself as the one person on the railway trapped with another innocent person they also put on the railway tied together, and the larger group are the other people who tied you there, it's either you and one other innocent person they tied together or like 5 people who tied you to the tracks and one innocent person tied together. I personally am not sure I could take the idea that I personally would be wiping out 80% of humanity with quite a few innocents, but at the same time every single person on the island you live on that's about to be killed for no reason is also innocent.
