Angelina Lyaka - The “Maria Gorreti of Tororo”

Countless people including the clergy in Tororo Archdiocese have had favors and witnessed miracles after praying for the intercession of Angelina Lyaka a young lady who died for her faith 93 years ago.
Angelina Lyaka formerly of Dabani Busia district was cut several times by an adulterous man identified as Ndobira whose sexual advances she had refused.
Born on 20th June 1912, the 14 year old died at Tororo Hospital in 1927 two months after being hacked by Ndobira. Now Christians and the clergy in the area want her declared a martyr after some of them received favors and miracles from her.
