Thank you !!! Only you do this, on the whole internet ! The way our grandmothers would have taught us ! I've been looking for this instruction for soooo many years ! Thank you !
(this comment is meant to be read in a lighthearted tone ☺️) "keep your hands relaxed" my friend, I am holding a sharp object and repeatedly stabbing it through fabric that I'm holding close to my body. I don't understand how I'm supposed to have any part of me relaxed lol that being said, I did stab my fingers a few times today so I'm actually not that careful when I'm so focused on trying to make the fabric, needle, and thread do what I want them to do 😂
Wow, awesome video (and not too long :) ). I am often stymied by the easiest things and it was challenging to learn to sew without this direction. This makes so much sense, I wish I had watched it when I started. Thank you so much for breaking down the basics to help me become a better sewer!

Its definitely a skill that is learned best by watching others to It. I’m so glad this was helpful! Happy sewing!
Im having the problem of my left forth finger pad is raw from accidental needle pokes. Ive been working on very tiny historical hems.
Trying to find info on the stop knot or whatever it's called. Haven't seen anything on your videos yet.
Nice
I've been holding everything wrong lol!
I need to hand sew a pocket back on hoodie
