Oh dear Luna .... happy she is OK. What a wonderful thing you are doing by first adopting your pets and second also somewhat older pets. Luna is having a wonderful life with you and your family, it is lovely to see the pictures of her sleeping on your video's. Something so peaceful about a sleeping dog. I am a rescue dog mum myself, we adopted Whopper (then called Vado) from Spain where he was found living on the streets as a puppy, in survival mode , traumatized and out of control. The rescue center socialized him and then put him up for adoption, he came to live with us in The Netherlands when he was 10 months old. That was 12 years ago this month. And what a wonderful 12 years it has been. Fingers crossed for a few more. Again, always lovely to see and hear about Luna, of course, especially when it is good news. Fingers crossed there as well.
Love Luna! You go girl! My 10 year old Dane/Lab mix living with cancer, makes me laugh every day. I love my vet too! Always enjoy your videos and updates.
Sweet Luna. I thought "uh-oh" when I read the title of this video but then I was relieved to see you smiling as you mentioned her before the winners segment. I'm so glad the washcloth saga, umm, came out well. And I know she's comfortable and loved by many.
I’m so glad Luna is okay for now. Treasure each day with your sweetie girl. ❤ And yes! I did finish my SALentine piece a day or two after emailing you. I am so silly excited about the floss club! Yippee!!!! Thanks sew much!
Thanks for update on Luna…glad to hear she is still snoring away 🐾♥️🤗 washcloths is a 1st for me😁 our Airedale puppy loved silk thread 🧵 just happened when he ate it had needle attached in fact 2🪡🪡. .so we had major surgery x2…. I quickly learned no needles or silk left out! He’s fine but was touch & go at time….we love them for the joy they give us & so much more…🤗♥️❤️🌷
Hi Caroline - I skipped over the winners just to listen to your story on Luna! As I had my two cats, Georgy and Savannah, and saying goodbye was tough but forever loved. I hope Luna feels a bit better and wish you strength during this time! You are right, our animals are never here long enough! Thanks for the update on Luna! Sending you a hug too!
I’m so sorry about Luna. We lost our 11 year old cocker spaniel Sparky two years ago and it was so hard. We have since gotten our chocolate lab Lily who just turned 1 but she eats everything!!! Thank goodness that everything has come out but it always put a scare into you. Cherish the time that you have with Luna and make everyday the best that you can with her. Hugs to the fur baby. 😊
Glad Luna is better. Our grand-poodle has eaten socks 😮. They also just lost their 13 year old shitzu to cancer that he battled for a couple years. Never long enough with them.
Sending all the love to sweet girl Luna! Sam ate a Ziploc bag a year ago & ended up with an intestinal blockage & two days in the hospital - NO FUN!!! They keep us on our toes haha Luna is such a lucky girl to spend her golden years as part of your family
Oh! I've never done one of your stitch alongs before. But just had to pause this and skate over to the Evertote site to have a quick peek. It's gorgeous! ❤ And, like Oscar Wilde "I can resist anything except temptation" So one of your beautiful SAL boxes will be winging it's way to New Zealand at the end of May. Then all I have to do is keep up with all you super-speedy stitchers 🤣
Oh Luna!!! We had a 21.5 year old kitty that loved crabmeat, so when we knew we were nearing the time to say goodbye we got him some crab lo mein and picked out the crab for him. He loved it. Thank you for sharing your Luna story. I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week! 🙏🙏🙏
Gosh Luna! What a relief. It becomes a bit of a roller coaster doesn’t it? More worry than before going to the vet but then (so far and hopefully more) great relief after the vet. Mabel was at the vets today and again, turned out not so bad but at nearly 12 I start to worry a bit more.
Oh poor Luna! You would think at 10 years old she'd be over eating things she shouldn't be eating. We do love our pets so much♥ Looking forward to the regular flosstube. Congrats to all the winners!
Ah, Luna! So glad that she was able to "clear out" the "contraband" that she ate, and the x-ray showed no further blockage. She seems such a sweet girl and is loved by many (even many of us who haven't met her). Happy stitching!
We have a lumpy miniature schnauzer, nearly 12. She’s an ex breeder we took on, free to a good home, just as well with the vets bills, can’t get insurance for her. Just making her days as happy as we can, yes she’s spoilt. Lots of love and a big cwtch for Luna x 🏴
I have not finish my SAL yet but still working on the picture. Bot what has happen I can not find my booklet of the design so I orderfeds fthde b ookledt and hows it is trhe correct booklet. Cost was $10.39. I ordered the pattern last night could notg see a picture of the cover but the floss was correct. Have a wonderful week. ❤ ❤ ❤ 😅 I am so glad that Luna isz OK. I know how hard it is to put a dog down, Year ago we had Sassy died under my tabletook her to thev Vet. For cremation but her salf so we have her ashes.
Poor Luna. You have to wonder why at her age she suddenly decided wash cloths would be yummy. Our chocolate lab ate a man’s size tube sock. Luckily my husband saw her run off with it. He loaded her into the car and took her to the vet. The vet gave her something and up came the sock. The vet asked my husband if he wanted the sock back. He declined!
Ohh Luna! You're such a sweetie pie! Enjoy all the time you have with her, C. xx

❤❤❤❤❤So so happy Luna is still with you; well all of us who have come to love her. Please give her a love from my Cait!
I’m sure you have given Luna lots of extra love. She was very lucky to have you and your family adopt her. It’s hard, but you’ll know when it’s time.❤
So glad to hear that Luna is still up to doing antics, but what a scare! Take care...we have 6 goldens waiting for us across the 🌈 bridge!
Sending huge gentle hugs for Luna

❤
Oh Luna, what don't you get up to...lol. Poor thing
Sweet Luna! I just wish I knew what our pets were thinking sometimes.
I'm curious to know how many finished the were for the SAL.
I had 45 completed SALs emailed to me!!!
So glad the problem was washcloths and that she got rid of them without surgery! You just never know what prompts them suddenly to eat weird things.
תודה על הריקמות יפות מאוד
