My list of stitches by the sea is getting ever longer. Today I am adding the beautiful French alphabet sampler. I also would like to attempt one of those beautiful temari balls as well. My favorite project is a memory quilt for my son. I kind of put the cart before the horse in completing an all white quilt. I’m an avid journaled. So I’m going to cross stitch little pictures and dates commemorating milestones in his life such as the day he went to bootcamp, his first tooth, etc. hmm not sure how im going to do the teeth. But you get the idea. So I’ve been watching your vlogs every week and I love having all the completed pieces on the wall behind you, except one. I realised within the last few days I’m in trouble. When Isabella’s Heart came out, I fell in love with it. I purchased it. I haven’t started it yet. I don’t think I’ll have the stomach to. I mean this with no disrespect. It’s merely a adverse reaction on my part. Every time I look behind your head I see the Queen of hearts from Alice in Wonderland. She was a character that as a child , scared me to death. I’ve looked at that picture a million times and never saw it until just the other day. And when I was sleeping I literally woke from a nightmare of her standing over my bed yelling “Off with her head!” So see there is some bizarre humor in this story. I never imagined when I purchased it. It’s still a very beautiful piece. I just have to try to see it differently or perhaps stitch in different colors. I’m just shaking my head that I even shared that with you. Ugh! So wierd!😒. P.S. Are you going to be making any chickadee bags?
Congratulations on Hibernation Day and the Hobey Thief. They are fabulous! I am loving the SALentine stitching. I started mine in the middle and have the bottom half of the heart done. I am working on the braided border around it today so I can get to the corner hopefully tomorrow. Another Jacob stitches of joy chart!! I just love it! ❤ Your trip sounds wonderful and can't wait to hear about it. Happy stitching 🧵
All your finishes are beautiful. I'm working on Hiberniation now and just love the Roxy floss colors in it, so beautiful in person. "Baby It's Cold Outside" also by Heartstring Samplery is also on my list.
Your Hibernation project is beautiful. I am so happy you shared it. Amtrak will be another stunning project when it is finished. I like the center vase with the reversed colors. I have the left deer almost finished but I have the center vase, heart and the bottom flowers to do. I am pretty close to your progress.
Hibernation day is perfect!! Actually, your stitching made me buy this design and a floss pack from you :) I also have Theresa the Kitten stitcher’s design on my list, love it!!
Hibernation Day looks amazing! Neil did a wonderful job highlighting your wonderful stitching. I can’t wait to see Amtrak progress to a finish as well. It’s going to be a stunner!!! SALentine is looking fabulous. You’re really on a roll - truly making your 50th a year of celebrations!! 💜
Your framed finish of Hibernation Day is so beautiful. I love the look of your progress on your Salentine. Thank you for another wonderful stitching update.
If you haven't seen dear friends for a long time, all you have to do is watch a video of you.😬🥰 Finally I was able to see Daniel again. How wonderful! Your honey thief has become sensational. congratulations💐🥳❤️
Your hibernation day is so beautiful in its frame! Your stitching always looks so great, and that French alphabet sampler is beautiful. You have a wonderful trip!
When I was little my grandmother and mother made the most amazing pickles that took days and a stone crock. We had to eat all of our veges before we got the adored pickle. Yes we save the best for last. A drop in moment from Daniel…how lovely. Upside down Luna is adorable. The honey thief is so good!
Caroline, your stitching is the best I have ever seen. Your Amtrak is spectacular. What a fabulous job. I aspire to be a fraction as good as you. Thanks for sharing, Karen
Sparrow TV is why we put a live Christmas tree with lights outdoors just outside our slider. We feed the birds there and love watching them eat and go in and out of the tree. Our deck is on the second floor so we would t see them otherwise. 😊
I am always amazed with your beautiful stitching ❤️ You reminded me of the ‘Fan Feeling’ the day we met for the first time at Thread and Eye. And as they say, the rest is history. Thanks for the memories. Absolutely love Amtrak. You can get it finished sooner than you think. Enjoy your special time away. Happy stitching.
Beautiful finish on Hibernation Day. I framed mine this weekend after you said you had yours done. I was putting off the lacing, but it really wasn't that bad... Can't wait to see your travels
You guessed it! I was waiting until today to say anything so I would know my plans more clearly. I’ve booked an appointment at 11am next Tuesday and would love to meet some fellow local stitchers!!

Love your stitching! I have a suet feeder on my deck for the winter months and love watching the woodpeckers fight over it every day.

Hi Daniel!
Your stitching is beautiful. What was the name of the pattern that you have the silk’s from 2010. Plus when is your Christmas advent going on sale?
The 2024 Holiday Countdown is on sale now. I’m signed up and looking forward to my first one.
