On the "Are there different carbon fiber patterns?" Technically, yes there are. They're just not very common or not very interesting. The weave you see there is the most common. You have different weights(thicknesses) of the CF, different widths of the weave and different patterns like unifiber, V, etc. If you can make the strands into a flat or round thread and make that into a pattern, you can make parts out of that. But the 0-90 crossweave is the most common and you can buy premade CF plate in different thicknesses and it is cheap.

Those HDDs do in fact need air, and only get it if you mount the side fans on the inner side of the case as opposed to back side. They also need to be at a decent RPM. I have the O11 XL with 4 HDDs and found that HDD temps approach 60C if you don't do it that way.
not to mention how a poorly optmized HDD orientation also adds to chassis heat...if a lower quality psu/heat setup is also soaking up....talking huge degredation on PSU within first few years of use...considering the voltage ranges these days on newer DDR5 systems and modern 3ghz gpus. Looking at huge HITS to SOC and system voltage within lifetime of ownership and occasional "declocking" and loss of sustained "as advertised" all core potential as well...within 1 year of heavy use. Sad state of affairs how much responsibility goes into the hands of an end user or larger budget/use range BUILD these days...yet a properly tuned modern/ai equipped laptop can do a slew of workloads that the majority of "older" gen cpu/chipsets etc can achieve. Still blows my mind that for the most part these 1st gen AI setups are mostly inclined to managing these voltage "issues" on flagship/end users builds....so that "modern" ultrabook/etc professionals dont see these voltage creeps and spikes as cpus go from dormant/low load to fully loaded/clocked in the span of seconds if not fractions. Its almost a tell that Intel/amd are fully aware of how much OS/coding hops into causing so much idle voltage and spikes/resistance heat at the snap/drop of a hat with these modern 2-300w cpus on a desktop system. Or the heat soak for these cpu/blocks for air/AIO and how they fare with high/load uptimes.

That is so strange. JayzTwoCents has made a video yesterday about this exact same case! Im wondering if all the press release cases are numbered 0000 of 6498! His has the exact same product numer! Just check his video at 2:14 I believe and it shows! You would think they would say something about that to avoid confusion! I have to say though Lian Li has always seemed to go above and beyond as far as im concerned so I'm absolutely sure there is a very good reason for the discrepancy!
got one on route to me now but would admit i would prefer to change the screen to a custom screen like afterburner on it (just so i can have gpu and cpu temps at the same time) rather than the lamborghini stuff but it can switch between the two so i'll just have to deal with it. also going to have to get a few more fans as my current setup only uses 5 fans at most i think 2 sets of basic p28 lian li uni fans should do as i want a slightly more blacked out version.
Someone get this man more atx cases to work on. I mean, 80% of this is just a review of the evo case in itself. They prolly picked Adam to do it to make it sound that more interesting. Alex and Jake would be a whole lot less impressed I would think.
$299 is spicey sure, but not spicey enough for the reaction to price. It should last beyond our other upgrade paths that cost far more money. A case i enjoy that's going to last me a decade vs 6 times that for a GPU that I'm realistically looking to upgrade in 5 years doesn't feel expensive.
I don't get why the screen is there, nobody is looking at the back of the case especially if you have air cooler. You'll pay 140$ for screen that is barely visible and some vinyl stickers on the case.
ppl that dont know what Riva tuner is or Afterburner. Think theyre going to install 2-4k worth of hardware in this....and run some 3dmark...to ladder climb an air build in a 011 XL XD....and wants to look at their chassis for "temps" so they can max out their v core and voltage CURVE to sustain highest CLOCKS possible....CLEARLY the demographic spending on something like this....Definitely not ppl penny pinching their builds to OC their gpus to Punch a whole SKU higher....XD ive seen ppl with 300$ cpus....and more invested in LIAN Li fans in their 011 builds....i cant act like this chassis isnt more often with builds poorly executed than proper ones NGL.
Come on, they'll make a BtF/Stealth/Zero/Whatever variant of basically this case at some point. They'll have to change a few more things, might call it a new series, but it'll generally be this. And i think i want it. Not the Lambo edition, no thanks. Also, no fan in the back, bad choice. The screen there, why ? I am also just waiting for an AIO that basically has a screen on top that covers all up to the memory and the GPU. Gotta happen at some point. I am sticking to aircooling though. Cheaper, can look good, less prone to failure, less massive failure, cheaper and really fast to fix, if you really want a screen on it, those exist too. And yup, the pricing is ridiculous.
A case at that price point should NOT have fans included because it should assume that you're a nerd enough to have your favourite fan (noctua). I hate all the cases that include fans - they all go straight to the landfill.
Advertisements have the price at the end. Reviews should start with it. It's the first thing that everyone thinks about when they see the case out of the box or even before that when they hear it's a Lamborghini collab. It gives context to everything else.
I don't expect price first in a review. The price matters to judge against all the features of a product, so telling me why it's good and bad on its own is more important, and then relating that to price to tell worth. Also, Short Circuit has never been reviews, it's first looks, and some test builds in cases. A review would go into fan layouts and temperature tests. This was showcasing the build and how the screen works with components in it to power it.
This case do look not bad, but not the best, Lamborghini have nothing like it at all, except the black shiny carbon fibre, Overall the case such, should name it Carbon fire case, and that colors code is for the logitech Astro gaming headset gen 2 A10 it got the same cooler and the carbon thing.
I mean, this case is pretty silly regardless of how you look at it, but sticking an air cooler into this case is just dumb. It's specifically designed for 360mm radiators, and the fan layout really doesn't make sense otherwise.

The carbon accents would be so much cooler if there wasn't any Lambo Branding
everywhere is hexagon in Lamborghini
Missed oportunity for the lamborghini branded rtx4090 😉😅
got one on route to me now but would admit i would prefer to change the screen to a custom screen like afterburner on it (just so i can have gpu and cpu temps at the same time) rather than the lamborghini stuff but it can switch between the two so i'll just have to deal with it.
also going to have to get a few more fans as my current setup only uses 5 fans at most i think 2 sets of basic p28 lian li uni fans should do as i want a slightly more blacked out version.
missed opportunity, should have had lambo hinge case doors
Who else sees the Hand of the King as says. Hmm..."That looks like Adam"?
Someone get this man more atx cases to work on. I mean, 80% of this is just a review of the evo case in itself. They prolly picked Adam to do it to make it sound that more interesting. Alex and Jake would be a whole lot less impressed I would think.
$299 is spicey sure, but not spicey enough for the reaction to price. It should last beyond our other upgrade paths that cost far more money. A case i enjoy that's going to last me a decade vs 6 times that for a GPU that I'm realistically looking to upgrade in 5 years doesn't feel expensive.
I’ve been looking into this for a couple of days now unfortunately it’s not listed anywhere in Canada
Is that a canadian mullet I spot?
Beautiful, but it would have been better to have liquid cooling so you could see the screen
That yellow is Corsair Yellow
I just saw it on a tech part site this morning. It costs way too much
Cougar Conquer PC case looks more like the aventador Lamborghini.
I don't get why the screen is there, nobody is looking at the back of the case especially if you have air cooler. You'll pay 140$ for screen that is barely visible and some vinyl stickers on the case.
ppl that dont know what Riva tuner is or Afterburner. Think theyre going to install 2-4k worth of hardware in this....and run some 3dmark...to ladder climb an air build in a 011 XL XD....and wants to look at their chassis for "temps" so they can max out their v core and voltage CURVE to sustain highest CLOCKS possible....CLEARLY the demographic spending on something like this....Definitely not ppl penny pinching their builds to OC their gpus to Punch a whole SKU higher....XD ive seen ppl with 300$ cpus....and more invested in LIAN Li fans in their 011 builds....i cant act like this chassis isnt more often with builds poorly executed than proper ones NGL.
at 9:03, there is a butterfly at the bottom left corner
What's it like to feel emotionally cleansed?
Im sad it doesn't match my secret lab Lamborghini chair
Had my Lian li case for 2 years now 💪🏻
A case at that price point should NOT have fans included because it should assume that you're a nerd enough to have your favourite fan (noctua). I hate all the cases that include fans - they all go straight to the landfill.
I had my Lian-Li O11 Air RGB'd out. Ended up being sick of it and now I'm blacked out.
This isn't a review nor an ad. It's an unboxing.
Tldr: you never cared about this video and only wanted to know how much it costs which could have been done with a 2 second search.
It is actually an ad. Companies pay for unboxings.
@@badhabit6140 but they didn't.... There's a completely separate sponsor
You're paying for a limited edition with a lot of extra design work. The additional price is not that much.
People who want a Lamborghini case will pay the $140 Lambo Tax just for the badge on the front and the ability to day "I've got a Lambo"
Or maybe they’ll buy it because it looks nice?
0:13 This is MF Doom
id love a porsche design version
I mean, this case is pretty silly regardless of how you look at it, but sticking an air cooler into this case is just dumb. It's specifically designed for 360mm radiators, and the fan layout really doesn't make sense otherwise.
It's 300 on Newegg and already out of stock
