I agree with you that the plot in this game was predictable and cliché, as opposed to the first game which actually had a very engaging storyline. However, I disagree about the music. This game has by far the more spectacular soundtrack.
The first Ninja Gaiden games do not allow you to change the difficulty, but because of how difficult they are, I would say that their difficulty is really Hard 😖😖😖

Ninja Gaien 2 getting steadily and subtley more Lovecraftian without actually copying anything from Lovecraft is a work of genius
Any game that is inspired by Lovecraft and knows how to do it well is a delight to enjoy. 😍😍😍
When it came to music, sound, and a coherent plot, the first game was evidently much better than the second game.
If you think that the second part, its story is less interesting than the first, the third is worse. 😵💫😵💫😵💫
