I actually played Metal Slug X first over this first version, but it's all the same, I loved everything from this! The plot twist of the Mars People turning on Morden and the Rebel Army at the end, _THEN the Rebel Army joins on OUR side to fight them backstabing aliens,_ yo that was SO HYPE to 10 year old me! Then that Independence Day reference. That one kamikaze pilot was the true hero, HE took down the mothership! "HELLO, BOYS! I'M BAAAACK!!" 🤚😌👌
My favorite boss is Hozmi because it looks like Player 1 Submarine from In The Hunt from its color pattern and its upward attack, and it got me confused why a submarine is armed with such high tech energy weapon weapon (turns out it got Martian technology)
I guess it's a show of skill to use the worst weapon on each of these, but it's also a test of patience to *watch* you using the worst weapon on each of the bosses. :D

I can see why Metal Slug X is a superior sequel to the first game because the framerate for Metal Slug 2 SUCKS!!!!
never understood why on these videos you avoid pick ups or upgrades?
I think its a challenge, doing it pistol only makes the bosses much harder to take down.

I'm not sure why he does these ridiculous extra challenges to already difficult games. This game literally drops power ups like candy for you to use.
