Hey Randy, that was a great comparison of the 4 loads! Thanks for your time and effort! P.S. It looks like the #2 Steel did the best between it and the Bismuth, jmo. Something to think about up to the 35 yd range. Thanks again!
the B80 is a nice gun. I remember borrowing a friend's probably 35 years ago. Did you have to put a special steel proof barrel on that gun or did it come with one?
Great video. Been watching some videos from Jimmy Müller recently, who has spoken highly of BOSS Warchief shells. Would you consider reviewing those shells?
Yes. So far, the reports are not good. www.shotgunworld.com/threads/boss-warchief-bismuth-buffered-load-dissection-data-and-pattern-results.564348/#post-4951299
What is your opinion of Hevi XII in 4 or 6 out of a 20. I found a couple boxes reasonably priced. I know we had a short discussion about bismuth a week or so ago and I thought this might be a better load for ducks and geese. It’s only 7/8 oz though. Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge on shotguns with us all.
Hits like a Mack truck. It’s literally straight original Hevi-Shot and patterns great at farther distances. Pricey but outperforms steel and bismuth without question. Only 2nd to TSS
@@RandyWakeman I am not gonna argue with that but original hevi-shot has been a killer of many a birds for years. I personally have taken many turkeys with it well beyond 60yds and all my fellow hunting guides would attest for the same performance of it as well as over 1600 clients.
Love that b80
Nice 20ga load comparisons. 👍

Yes, Winchester redeemed themselves with the Blindside 2 twenty gauge load.
Those surprised me!

B-80 barrels are steel-rated.

Would a 30% increase in distance result in a 30% increase in pattern? I thinking it should...
It isn't linear.

*Not good* : odd-ball pellets of various sizes, like gravel.

It ranks *far* below not just TSS, but Sphero-Tungsten 15g/cc, and Wingmaster HD which is spherical.

Fifty million Frenchmen claim lead has killed birds far longer than not-so-heavy Hevi-Shot.
How long has the 20GA Super Pheasant been available? I’ve been looking for it for quite awhile.
Over 1-1/2 years for Super Pheasant Diamond Grade.
@@RandyWakeman Would that Winchester 20GA Super Pheasant Diamond Grade load be effective at 40-45 yards? I'd like to see them add a 3" 20GA cartridge.
$34 for a box of 20 gauge lead is rough.
Not really. About a buck twenty per pheasant: www.midwayusa.com/product/1025691795?pid=288679
