I have made the mood Clementine dress, and I love the pattern. I would say to size down and the instructions were very lacking. However, if you have a basic knowledge of sewing, you can pretty much figure it out and there are tons of great blog posts, like you said. I made mine in a Viscose Rayon from Dressew.

I’ve heard it’s good idea to size down! I really want to make it this summer, it’s so cute!

The one that was"reversible"may be so because when you line it properly you can wear it "inside out" ... With flat buttons that could work nicely... Rather than, as you suggested "backwards" which would be weird because of the neckline.

On the website it says that it is reversible front to back, for two neckline options. It wouldn’t be reversible to be inside out way as there isn’t a lining- it is finished with bias binding and the hem is folded under twice, so it’s not meant to be turned inside out.

Thanks so much for putting this together. I love the boxy top and as you say we all need one of those. Voile is pronounced vwal by the way! But lots of people say voyle so who cares!

Thanks so much for watching! I say Nwal and vwal as well, as that’s how you’d pronounce it in French! But I’ve heard a bunch of people say n-oil, so wasn’t sure!
