The barbarian is great but I'm just disappointed that he's not all that with a two handed axe (slow, few compatible skills), it's could've been cool if he rocked with two hand axe like fantasy barbarians do.
Double swing is actually hell viable on its own as a skill. It has a hidden 50 IAS that makes many slow weapons useful for the barb. For example Schaefer's Hammer (Shael) main hand and Stone Crusher offhand (I usually Amn it) work very well with double swing but don't really get it done on frenzy. Those mallets hit 7 frames on DS but start at only 11 with Frenzy. Replace the Schaefer's with a Stormlash and you are at 5 frames vs 7. It is weak on AR so you can use War Cry to break down monsters so you can hit them. With only 1 point in double swing and 20 in bash there are a lot of points left over for customizing. They make great Nith runners because they can be made cheaply. Two spirit swords for howling, the mallets can often be had for pgems. Ideally you want Glad's Bane or Iron Pelt for armor. Join a Baal run, howl your way down, warcry Nith then pound him down, and you often won't even miss the first wave. It won't area clear as well as frenzy because it doesn't have the FRW but if you know where the boss is and you want to go get him it works fine.
Hi, nice series you got. Impressive speedruns too! What I find lacking is additional viable builds for Normal towards Hell. Usually you only show one type of build and neglect others.
Hey lama. Isnt weird that he start with 25 virality but only have 55 life. If he get 4 life per vitality point i would expect him to start with 100 life. Blizzard screw up ? 10 energy ---> 10 mana
there is a good thing in grim ward it also works with monsters of higher level than yours even with one point, with howl you have to put more points in it to scare them

I don't care if it annoys you or not, if he needs to drink water, than it must happen. That's it, if you don't like it, I recommend YOU to stop drinking. At that point try out not breathing too, so you're not wasting our precious oxygen either. TLDR; Hydration and the health of the streamer is more important than your personal preference.

Yep he's great for his warcries early and his tankiness late. He can add some dmg, but never truly beats anyone in that regard. You always want 1 in a party though for all the extra life!

Then get a Might merc and give him Pride to have all the Damage auras and I’d have an oak sage, blood golem and summon grizzly. Basically a PvM screw around build. Any thoughts? Much love dude!
I remember playing with a dual throwing barb a very long time ago on bnet. But the most common builds with the barb is a dual wielding barb with Double Swing and Frenzy, Beserker and Concentration and finally WW. Heh Leap is OP and broken as hell my god this is ridiculous. I have seen a Beserker barb with 1 (or two handed as a 1 handed) weapon with a shield that was a beserker concentrate barb.
Grim ward is good on Baal waves for CC (spam it), I would never put more than 1 hard point into it though. Frenzy is incredible if you have an item that unfortunately can only be produced with hacks and that's an indestructible beast OH.
when i rushed my barb in plugy, i gave him 2 hellforge hammers, and the the gloves and belt from the artic set. played 8 player up till act 4 i think. great way to lvl 6 before getting to cold plains 18 by the time u kill anderial, 24 durial. dont remember for meph.
Man i remember the good old days playing D2 live on battle Net. I had the best peices of gear for Each character my best was a lvl 92 pally smiter where my shield and wep where invisible I would basically one shot people Good Times.
Imho Grim Ward is pretty good skill. For Howl to work you need clvl+slvl+1 > mlvl (clvl - character lvl, slvl - skill lvl, mlvl - monster lvl). Grim Ward works always. Sometimes even if you have higher Howl them monsters it will not work on boss pack minions. So in these situations you can Taunt one monster from pack kill it then make Grim Ward on its corpse and you have clear zone to take boss 1vs1. In any area where Howl doesn't work, GW will work. Good to make you clear/safe zone around you to take monsters one by one. Also that totem looks cool. Maxed Howl is good for mf Berserker barb.

It should be noted that only the Barbarian can increase Battle Orders to well beyond the 150% stage of increased life/stamina/mana. There are instances on hardcore where this can be vital, so don't be too hasty in denying your party of a highly skilled buffer.
Used to run a full support barb back in the days, back when Chaos was full of Iron Maiden and could'nt WW in there for shit 20 BO, 20 Shout, 1 into Increase stamina, increase speed, iron skin, natural resist, one into find item, rest into Warcry and its synergies Buff up my party and reloot everything they killed Wasnt the most amazing toon to play but.. its oddly effective, and people usually like getting buffed with Lv40+ BO/Shout, go figure =D
I think the barbarian is the most boring and hardest character in early game. I don’t like it very much. I didn’t beat diablo in normal with him. I just hit him because the barb dont have any good high damage skill.
early game he's super easy, what are you on about. You smash everything you find on normal no probs whatsoever as long as you're not frozen. And after that, well you have whirlwind, which is incredibly fun and effective. Barbs are where it's at for melee chars!
I was playing a single player barbarian when my internet was out for a while, got lucky with some finds and he was really good, baranar's star set mace has dual leech and let me whirlwind everything to death, got up in the 60's doing nightmare baal runs before i stopped playing him. Just look for good gear or make your own with runewords and he should be just fine. When you're not speedrunning like mrllama does and you have time to farm countess for runes, you can make some REALLY strong characters before level 20 that will smash normal and some nightmare.
I have only one recommendation for your videos- they're fantastic, and that is to invest in a reusable water bottle. Plastic water bottles are a major source of pollution and an unnecessary use of resources.

Edit: to be fair the most valuable thing ive found is a bajillion gold but my gambling luck sucks so it amounted to nothing so far.

Barbarian it's basically a tank with legs, the típic bodybuilder guy with a height around 6'7 and 255 pounds of weight. Barbarian is perfect for noobs, he can to get heavy armors and use heavy weapons with less strengh required.
It's based on the enemy u kill, so if u try to find item on a random level 1 enemy, it will give shit, but if u find item on a champion enemy, you will get a whole loot set
Warcrier is the most useless barb build ever. You go warcry on hell vs bosses or phys immunes and lets see how well are you doing there mister Llama instead of showing us level 99 on normal with warcry maxed.

Concentrate is best cause battle orders is a synergy and you are already maxing it anyway, more points to play with.

blind play through i made whirlwind barab and it was tough im stuck on normal hell, cant past the mobs to get the boss even

Find item skill - tried it yesterday, spent 4 points. You're looting dead bodies and it costs a lot of mana, and you get shit.
