I wish u made this video 3 weeks ago ☹️😂 I shifted into 2nd while in or near balance point and i looped 🤦🏻♂️. Bike fell on my left foot and fractured a bone there. Bike is ok just some broken plastics. Can’t wait to finish healing up and do more wheelies but im never shifting again. The ending of this vid applied to my accident so much lmao. I def just wanted to chase them longer by shifting into 2nd lol
I'm about 6 months into stunting. Can ride 1st gear comfortably and pretty steady using foot brake. I tried to shift 1st to 2nd on my grom and looped so fast. I used the clutch. I think it was a combination of too much throttle, letting the clutch out, being too high up.
Being too high will get you. It’s tricky on a grom because you really have to be in the perfect zone or else shifting up will make it too weak to keep the wheel up if you’re not high enough but then because you have to stay higher if your shift isn’t smooth it will kick up quick. I usually shift right in balance point on the grom
I didn’t learn in a lot originally I just had a little road, nice and smooth that was out of the way and very little traffic coming in and out. Lots are just the easiest place to have a flat road with no traffic. Gotta be careful though because if it’s too empty it’s actually pretty dangerous to practice alone. I’d always recommend having someone else with you if you’re completely out of people

@jar7d I used to stunt a 636 many years ago. Wheelies seemed so much easier on that lol. Cheers man!
I did the exact thing about 3 weeks into learning on my grom, now just doing 2nd to 3rd
i wish there was a lot or anywhere around my town to practice, is there anywhere specific where you learned to wheelie

What about using a quick shifter in a wheelie? Could that still kick you back to where you need to catch it or would it be smoother?
It’s still going to kick you back because a quick shifter still blips the throttle
I’ve never used one in a wheelie but if you’re too high it would still kick I assume
why is bros clutch all the way down there😂
Handbrake. My clutch is in a normal spot
@@jar7d ohhh!
Bro i ride a Duke 250 when I shit gear my bike goes down
Are you using a quick shifter or bump shifting because some quick shifters cut out too much to use it in wheelies
💯
shifted and looped huge L
