I understand that it may sounds like an excuse and yes better management could have been taken but it is a convention. The possibility is there that they are families.. Let's try to be positive before criticizing. I'm not bashing but to blame the ustadh i disagree. At least he gave a talk that is related to most common problems today where mixing has become quite a norm. And maybe insyaAllah through his talk, the management team can learn from it and improve for other events. Imagine if he refused and the problem was never addressed wouldn't that had been worst. Because reality is if ustadh nouman rejects such talks the management team will just invite another person who may or may not address the current problem. And maybe wallahu'alam ustadh nouman accepted to give the talk knowing the situation would turn out that way (if he even knew of the mixing. Which i doubt he knew or even if he did it'd be at the last minute) so that he can educate the people the proper ethics between man and woman so such situation repeats.. We won't know the reason so to be dissapointed or criticise a person without actual truth i just disagree.. Sorry if i'm harsh never meant to bash its just sometimes i read people comments whereby they criticise on the trivial issue without even knowing the situation. Let's just be positive.
