India's First Electric "Heavy-Duty" Truck - Rhino 5536 IPLT 🔥 100% Made in INDIA

- India’s first all-electric heavy-duty 60-tonne truck by Infraprime Logistics is already in operation
India now has it's very first all-electric heavy-duty truck. It doesn't come from Germany or Sweden though - it comes, in fact, from an Indian startup - Infraprime Logistics Technology (IPLT). And, the truck is already in commercial use.
Launched on 1 August, the IPLT electric truck is currently not up for commercial sale and will only operate in transport fleets. The manufacturer plans to roll out five trucks in the next 1.5 months and produce 50-60 trucks per month starting January 2020 from its plant in Ghaziabad.

इसमे Disel डाल सकते हैं क्या... क्योकि 200km से ज्यादा आगे ट्रक को ले जाना हो तो क्या करे अगर वहाँ charging system ही नहीं है
Construction is the biggest user. Bringing sand or cement or stones or steel rods, ceramic tiles etc etc also in roads infrastructure use.

It can be transformational in educing logistics cost and convenience of trade and business
Another technology under development is Electrified roads with overhead Electric traction lines . Trucks and public transport vehicles with rooftop Pantagraph like devices will run on this electricity . No engine , No heavy batteries . Only electric motors and transmission system . These vehicles can run very fast . They will move in line without take over problem . If fitted with Doppler or other automated system to prevent collision and accident , safety will be ensured .
With fast single line run , 2 up and down dedicated lanes will equal at least a 4 lane highway .
A detachable Truck-trailor system can be used . So that , traditional /electric truck can take the trailor to its final destination .
First such project is under construction on Delhi - Mumbai expressway .

Great idea, Need to redesign chassis, to accommodate min of 150KW battery. Box model Trucks are not good for EV, need to more aerodynamic. Battery are more dangerous than fuel, Cabin should be properly protected.
The video doesn't give actual data on battery pack. I know coz I hv been following this truck development for past 2 yrs.
The battery pack is of 265 kw for 55 Ton truck & 160 kw for 30 ton truck. With 160 kw charger 55 ton truck will take 90+ minutes to charge.
Due to huge battery pack, humongous Load to pull causing heating (fast discharge of battery) and Hot Indian weather...they hv put battery cooling system.
Price also is approx half of Tesla semi for 55 tons (95 Lacs INR)
BTW U also seem to hv some expertise on battery pack n aerodynamics. Do share more in reply...
