If you sell it, jump one system away and come back, it will be there again with full loadout....rinse and repeat. I have like 110 Dheat sinks by doing this.
You could also keep the Urbie. It does have endo-steel, making it a very weight efficient 30-ton (for those missions where you might not have enough weight to drop a full lance unless you use a light). I mean strip it down, and give it full armor, and you only use 5-6 tons, leaving you with 24-25 tons to use for equipment.
There is a mod that adds it. In my experience pretty much every hero mech has at least a couple double heat sinks. It won't be long before the rarity of items outstrips your scarcity of funds, so just buy any hero mech and strip it for whatever parts you want and then sell it back for a few mil less.
Note: Only one other mech comes with more DHS than the Urbie K9, and that is the Awesome Pretty Baby. It'll cost around 20 million cbills though, so it really is not a contender to farm heat sinks. If you travel one system further then return to the system where you purchased the Urbie, you can repeat the process as long as you have Cbills.
A trick I always use on mechwarrior 4 : mercenaries. Whenever im short supply on clan's weapons, I always buy the clan's mech, strip it down and sell the empty "shell".
That's not all there is to this trick. Once you sell the little guy back, travel to any system and then travel back. The mech will still be there, all refitted and ready to be purchased and stripped, all over again. Doing so allowed me to play two UAC5's on my Rifleman, which allowed it not to suck. In fact, it rocks now! A perfect headshotter! Only problem is that it runs out of ammo all the time.
Any ideas on how to "reset" the hero mech selection in star systems? As far as I've seen it, it seems you have to wait a few months at least for it to happen on its own.
Sooo TTB, after watching this video, I went in and tried to find one. I instead found a Hero mech Panther KK, it also has DHS on it, 5 to be exact. Not the 8 of the Urbie, but just another mech that can be farmed for some. Honestly that KK is going to replace my 9R, 1E in both the arms? yes please.
Yes it does and if you travel one planet over and then back to that planet not only will it still be there but it will be refitted with everything and you can just buy and sell it again
You know if you travel one planet over and then travel back to that planet you sold the striped hero Mach. It will still be in the market and refitted with all the double heat sinks.. you can just cheese the game and repeat the process with the same urbi until you're loaded up on heat sinks
Good Sir, as a member of the CoU, the Church of Urbie, I am offended by your blatant misuse of the greatest Battlemech the Inner Sphere has ever been blessed with; Please pilot the holy Urbanmech yourself and see the light, for there is nothing more glorious then to pew-pew the baddies into the ground, while having police-lights and -horns on! I‘ll end with a - rather famous - litany, confident that you‘ll see your errors: “Bless the Urbie and His UAC. Bless the coming and going of Him. May His passage cleanse the world. May He keep the world for His people. ”

I stripped a K9, after stumbling across one, of its lostech after watching your your DHS video. Such a good choice.
I hate the fact that we cannot see the details specs of mech before buying it. It's kinda stupid. IRL I would scream to the salesman.
Wwwwweeelllllll.....pretty sure PGI has been known to possess some scummy salesmen tactics soooooo, historically accurate? Working as intended?

Heavy Metal have 3-4 DHS.

Now I know this trick I been looking ffg or double heat sinks so bad for certain mechs i use
Dang I didn't know about jumping back in! Now I need to go back over there and find it...

You must fly far out of the zone, then it will reset.
@@Kaliops1 Thanks, good info. :)

1.6M for 8 DHS = 200k per DHS and must add 50000 * per jumps
I just picked up a rare ANH-1X with 2 double heat sinks.
Lol nice I did the same thing...I didn't even know there were 8...I got for the uac..... bonus

Well that’s a good tip Thanks! Now I just gotta download the game!
@@troyturner4765 I bought the game just for the potential of great mods but the game is actually really good all on its own.. definitely worth a Buy
Dear TTB, Mech-hero can be bought only once or can we (if we find them) buy it again? have a nice day :)
Hi TTB, I forgot to ask previously, you mentioned you use a Mouse instead of a joystick. What is your mouse sensitivity set to?
That does not help you unless you use the same mouse and sensitivity + dpi. Just set it to what feels comfortable to you.
Great, though, I Completed the Campaign a few days ago already so it a little late, but thanks for the tip

I am a glorious Zealot of the Urbie. Just not in MW5.
Has anyone tried flying over to the middle of Kurita space early on in the game to look for doubles?
I am in Kurita space now, but have not seen any DHS yet.
Maybe DHS unlock at a specific date.
I am confused by this thing, how frequently the shit around reset?
Ditto
You can not farm the urbanmech now as the equipment doesn't respawn..
Dude, get to the point...
Dude, where's my car?
