After watching several others over the last few weeks, Thank You! this was the easiest having all steps not just explaining without showing it on the screen!
Thank you so much, I finally figured out it was"I love glitter" and not "olive glitter" duh! I got one done! Really appreciate your tutorial, very easy to follow along.
great tutorial , thank you so much for sharing:-) I am having trouble saving the image once I follow through the print options and check that it is on bleed- I go to right click and nothing happens... any ideas on why it isn't popping up with the save option?
Great instruction video and easy to follow! My first tile turned out great. I had problems with the slice on the 2nd try but finally got it to work. Then there were problems getting the vinyl to stick to the tile. Can I apply a sealer (clear polyurethane or mod podge) to ensure vinyl stays in place?
Jackie Gibson you can! If you use 651, it should stick without needing a seal. I suggest using contact paper for transfer (low tack) and run over it with a tennis ball to get it in the grooves!
Love the font you used love glitter and your use of brackets - so creative. I was wondering why you had to do the bleed step? Could you not have just put rectangle around name and then slice
Hello, I’m a beginner beginner😳 this video has been very helpful but I seem to be stuck on the step after you weld. I don’t have those options you mention in the next step . Any idea what I’m doing wrong?
Anyone on a Mac, instead of right clicking, you hold down the control button on the bottom of they keyboard and click on the image. The same menu options pop up allowing you to "save as".
Thank you, thank you, so much!!!! I have a MAC and couldn't for the life of me figure this out. It kept saying "unsupported file" when I tried to upload it. You're a lifesaver!!!
Hey, Holli! Thank you for teaching us how to make this project! It is so beautiful and I've learned so much watching your tutorials! Just wondering, how you would hang this? or do you just prop it on a shelf? Thanks so much!
In the video you talked about cleaning up the "bleeded" image. It has a line around it. All I see is you keep clicking to clean it up. What do I click on to do this feature. I can't seem to get rid of the lines and have the "checkerboard" background. Thanks for your help.
How do i get it to bleed. My bleed button is on but it doesnt change. Is there a certain file type it needs to be saved as? Im new and i can't figure out what im doing wrong🤔 i have watched this video over and over and tried several times and i am stuck at this spot everytime. I also dont understand what all you are supposed to erase to clean it up. Please help
I was going step by step with you trying to make this. I ran into an issue when I placed the names over the last name. I did the weld, then you said to hit "print". I do not have that option on my design space. How do I get that option?
Loved the video - I got as far as the send to print.. I have a mac so when Command safe to desk top what extension is it suppose to save as? I also couldn't find the PDF on FB page.
Hi Love your video I got all the way through but at the last bit I could not slice I only had the last name and the blackout selected , not sure what I have done wrong
Hi Holli thank you so much I did that and it worked :0) I had welded the first names and just didn't think to weld the last name :0) can't wait to make it now Thanks again
What a great tutorial! Thanks so much! I was wondering when you were typing "Est" and moving the letters closer, it then looked like you were able to link the letters together with one keystroke -- what was that? Was it "attach"? Thanks so much!!
Hi just watched ur video amazing. Question. I welded everything at the end and instead of print i wanted to cut....when i did that 1 of the names inside with an "e" was shut. How can i fix that. Thanks!
Hello I just wanted to say thank you!! I just came across this tutorial and I was wondering can you help me with what type of computer do you recommend to buy?? Maybe one that’s not so expensive?? Please help....
Hi. I’ve watched this video 9 tones and have followed along each time. The problem in having is that when I cut the “bled” names is doesn’t fit back properly after i slice it. I’ve tried different names, resizing it and all but I can’t make it fit. Please help
Devonia Wright I set all my layers at 9 inches at the beginning of the project. That keeps everything the same size and it will fit perfectly! Then when you are finished you can resize
Thank you for this tutorial! Im having trouble, when I push print, then "make it" a pop up tells me that my image is too large and to decrease size.. But its not even 5inches. I've re watched your video over and over idk whats wrong. Can you help?
Hi thank you so much for doing this...However I got all the way to trying to slice out my bleeded name and the slice option won't light up for me. I know you said you can only have 2 items to slice or it won't and I do. Can you please help? THX!
Vanessa Vega hi Vanessa! Take your first layer, weld. Take your second layer, weld. Now place your shadow layer over your last name, select only the two layers, and slice. ❤️
I have no idea how I came across this video, but I'm so GLAD I did! I put my I pad in front of my computer so I could follow every step. My computer didn't give me the option to save it on desktop, so I'm trying to figure out another way.
I watched the TH-cam tutorial and tried to do it on my computer. I'm a bit computer dumb so I'm watching other video's on how to shadow fonts in Design Space.
I did the same thing, mind you it's taken me 3 days to make it. But once the video was done, I'm left with not know how to continue and not know the steps to actually getting it to the machine and getting it cut out! Lol I need steps to that as well. This is my very first project and I don't know what size I need?
When I go to the print stage to get the shadow, bleed is not an option ... I only get the same size as the normal lettering - not a shadow version... :-(
hello, I have followed the video all the way to the print part & everytime I try to send it to print like you do it tells me something is to big, I have tried making it smaller & it is still not letting me. I'm not sure what to do as this is my first project thanks in advance!
I successfully made this! Thank you for the tutorial! I was just gifted a cricut. Can this be cut on white vinyl and put on a dark board? (First project ever!)
I have tried all day today to make one of these.I get to the point when you save the piece after sending to printer and making sure bleed is on- and you say to r click and save.i cannot figure out how to save- as I have a Mac and cannot right click I have a smart mouse- with a stupid person using it can you help. please and thank you

Kimberly Hamilton hi Kimberly! Are you in my group? Lots of ideas!! Personally, I use a display stand.
ok...at about 5:20 in, you said something about the letters can not be closed-does that mean that they cannot touch?
lola garcia they can touch, just not overlap or they will fill in

Hi Love your video I got all the way through but at the last bit I could not slice I only had the last name and the blackout selected , not sure what I have done wrong
Hi Karen! Try welding your last name together, and then lay your shadow layer over to slice. It should work!
Hi Holli thank you so much I did that and it worked :0) I had welded the first names and just didn't think to weld the last name :0) can't wait to make it now Thanks again
So I have to keep it within the printable image scale, correct??

Do we need to coat the vinyl with something after it’s applied?
nandy Chancy not if you use oracal 651, which is what I suggest. It’s permanent ❤️
Thank you your amazing . I have a family wedding coming up and I know what they are getting now .
Elaine Smith thank you Elaine! ❤️
Do it need to be sealed, or what type of vinyl do I use???
Hi. I’ve watched this video 9 tones and have followed along each time. The problem in having is that when I cut the “bled” names is doesn’t fit back properly after i slice it. I’ve tried different names, resizing it and all but I can’t make it fit. Please help

Set everything at 9 inches, work through your entire project, then resize ☺️
Why don’t I have a print option net to cut?
Once I press print and make it, it shows me project is incompatible or supported. What did I do wrong?
I LOVED THE VIDEO! So easy to understand. I'm new to this< and I have a question. Mine is finishing as 2 cuts. Can I make it 1?
Tonya Logan yes!! Select both your layers and attach or weld :)
I don’t have a “print” option, how do make it appear?
I don't have print either
I don’t either ☹️☹️
Can you tell me what size font you used for the last name?
Serina Santos Times new Roman
How do you get the I love glitter font?

Amy Aubrey I use a 12x24
And how do I use the I love glitter font after I download it? It’s still not coming up as an option in my text?
Amy Aubrey close out cricut space and reopen it and it should pop up
OMG. Thank you sooooo much
Hi thank you so much for doing this...However I got all the way to trying to slice out my bleeded name and the slice option won't light up for me. I know you said you can only have 2 items to slice or it won't and I do. Can you please help? THX!

Thank You so much this did it & thank you for responding right away you're awesome!
i dont see the option to set the bleed? any idea on how i can access the print option?
Mallory McEvoy it’s automatic or there is a tab just before you “print”
What was the size of your board and how big are your letters?
I have no idea how I came across this video, but I'm so GLAD I did! I put my I pad in front of my computer so I could follow every step. My computer didn't give me the option to save it on desktop, so I'm trying to figure out another way.
Michele Schell I’m so glad too!! Did you see that I have a tutorial for this for iPad on my channel?
I watched the TH-cam tutorial and tried to do it on my computer. I'm a bit computer dumb so I'm watching other video's on how to shadow fonts in Design Space.

nice video, you should use a screen recorder for better quality
When I click print and follow all the steps, there is no difference when the bleed is on or off. It also won't let me right click it at all.
same did you figure it out karisa?
hello, I have followed the video all the way to the print part & everytime I try to send it to print like you do it tells me something is to big, I have tried making it smaller & it is still not letting me. I'm not sure what to do as this is my first project thanks in advance!
i had this problem too! Im sorry I dont know what I did to correct it, but i was able to fix it. I would love to know how I did it too!!
;)
Did we find an answer?
Hi Cathy! Start both layers at 9inches or less to “print.” You can’t make it larger than a piece of paper. :)
I successfully made this! Thank you for the tutorial! I was just gifted a cricut. Can this be cut on white vinyl and put on a dark board? (First project ever!)
You can use any colour vinyl you choose.
Can you please tell me where to find the written instructions? I am new to this and need step by step detail. Thank you!
Alan Fish hi Alan! You can find the PDF on my Facebook group, Cricut craft life :)
Thanks
What type of vinyl do you use for this knockout name design on ceramic tile.
Jan Gray I use Oracal 651
I have tried all day today to make one of these.I get to the point when you save the piece after sending to printer and making sure bleed is on- and you say to r click and save.i cannot figure out how to save- as I have a Mac and cannot right click I have a smart mouse- with a stupid person using it can you help. please and thank you
darcy sawmiller hi Darcy! I have a lot of Mac users that can help in my Facebook group, Cricut craft life
When I weld my font together it seems to disappear or get lighter.
Hi I am using a MacBook and cannot right click to save the image. I tried to take a screen shot and saved it to my desktop but then when I get to the mat and save as simple it is just a grey box. help!
Gina Reynolds hi Gina! Hit select button and click the image
