Ha! Me, too. I owned the first year model of the TS-185 Sierra with the teal colored gas tank. It was such a GREAT trail bike! Reliable, good power, handled nicely, etc.
Beautiful machine.Gladly we made it to Kaplan America's Museum two Saturdays ago and I fell in love with everything I saw.I love all machines and the BSA ,Norton's , etc.etc. you must see the place.1941 HD.1946 Indian .Suzuki GS 1000.The screaming Kawasaki's .The place is worth a ride.
Still going thru old Kaplan videos daily lol. Seems there's a never ending Santa's list of "what a boy wants" bikes lol. This thing was literally better than new! Mind blowing. 100% original minus tires. Insane!
These bikes have a pretty good hit especially the TM400 (widowmaker). Hard to find a street-legal 400cc 2-stroke on/off or enduro in this type of condition -I seriously doubt you can find a TS400 this nice except in a museum.
Wish there a few bikes like that being made today, the older I get, the more I hate teetering on my tip-toes with my KTM. I guess I’ll have to shoehorn a DRZ400 engine into a Suzuki VanVan…
Those indicators would be snapped off the 1st enduro through the woods! I think the budget ran out when the designer's came to the lighting 🤣🤤👌 they belong on an old 1970s GS1000 ha! 👊✊💨💨💨
Love these old Suzuki endures one of the best bikes I ever owned was a ts 185 road the wheels off it and could not kill it.

I would not be surprised that when he bought it new he put a few miles on it.then unhooked the speedo cable.

Beautiful bike Had a 73 TS185. Neighbor had a DT400. The torque it made. Hard to find bikes today. So much fun.
Ken, heck man, if I won the Lottery, I'd be shopping at your eBay store every day, man! I love the Suzuki TS models - all wonderful trail bikes!
