gotta say though compared to all the other paths and bosses, the missile edition of the alien cell is just a letdown.y first phase arms are destroyed in seconds... do they even have an attack sequence? and second phase, just vomits maggots and exposes the weak point, you never even have to go for the grotesque center mass because it blows up without assistance.
This 2 player mode clearly shows the weakness of hardware sprites fillrate of the Genesis: all the shots are just being switched off and on resulting in that flicker. 320 HW sprite pixels per scanline limit is certainly nothing to be called "blast processing"...
@Chief Deebo I absolutely agree with you. SNES has even more troubles displaying sprites properly. Both systems suck at displaying 2 player intense sprite action...
contra 3 lags just because of the existence of the second player, in fact i believe if they made hard corps on snes it would only run at 30fps all the time
