The best way is to never let them get in that condition to begin with. I’ve had my road glide for 5 years and they look like new. My wife had a Deluxe for 11 years and they looked like new after 70 miles. Water and a rag does wonders after every ride. Takes 5 minutes.
Riiiiight, well anyways ya dip not everyone buys new bikes...sooo this is helpful...take your look at me I'm perfect crap down the road we don't care lame
How is the polished look holding up ?? Any rust? Since the clear coat was removed. I am going to do mine and I was wondering if clear coat is needed or not. Thank you
I tell customers to treat them like uncoated wheels and hit them with some Mothers polish every now and then. How long the shine lasts depends on the environment the bike is in, but once they’re polished out it’s pretty easy to maintain by hand.
I did this on my road king. Those forks looked like they were recovered from a ship wreck when I got them. To keep that shine up soak a flat shoe lace in mothers and floss em.
Shoot ima polished my girl like this tonite😂 bing pow‼️🗣
Well done🤗i have to make The same on my Fatboy.
Hi from Sweden😉👌👍👍
Thanks! It’s pretty easy, you can do it. Easy to get the fender off a FatBoy too. Oh, and thanks to Sweden for all the awesome metal bands! 🤘

🤣 “Recovered from a shipwreck” is a perfect description
Difference between the red or green 3m scotch pad?🤔
Huh, unsure. I’ve used the gray and those are not as harsh as the red.. never used the green though.
Would it work to clearcoat after this?
Based on how oily the Mothers polish is, I’m guessing not. Probably have to degrease it first? Hmmm… I’ll give it a shot next time and let ya know.
Yeah sure make it look easy
Nice brother
most people would not be removing the wheel, so it would have been better to show it with the wheel on. just sayin'...
