Hey man thats just how racing goes. I had the same result my first clone race I literally qualified second to last just like you did out of like 37 or 38 I believe at a reaper national. Packing up early is humbling and definitely pushed me to do better. Good luck in the new class and dont let it bring you down.
It was my inability to prep my tires properly after it rained. This was only my 3rd time ever on an actual clay track. All sand down here in central Florida.
Nice track
Smooth as it gets!
Track looked awesome, we race here in Tennessee, love catching you videos

They put up some new lights at the track around the first of the year so it's not quite as dark in the corners as it used to be.
Palmetto grape prep after it rains bro!!

Packing up early is guy wrenching! But I agree, it only pushes to show up that much more prepared for the next show. Thanks for the support brother!
Do they run a sumo class?
What's with the cones in the middle of the corners? They just trying to cause wrecks?
🤷
Damn what a nice ass racetrack... Where is it???
Callahan, just north west of Jacksonville, Florida
So was that the badass Kevin Smith racing engine???? Qualified 35 out of 36 ???

Do you know the difference the time between 1st qualifier and where you were? 1 second, 2 seconds, 5 seconds? How far off are you?
@@TedTucholski I was half a second off in the second practice. 1.5 in qualifying, but everyone’s fast lap was lap 3 and I spun lap 2.
@@TedTucholski leaders were .3 off after the rain. Hypothetically that would have put me 15-20 in qualifying if it had not rained.
Shout out to my dad flagging in turn 4 🤷🤣
A TRUE HERO!
way to soft tires
For sure.
