Oh yeah, can't complain about that at all. Joshua, when you'd hit your marks, you were fast. Faster than those in front of ya (what we could see!). To me, what appeared to throw ya off a bit was pinching the corner early; maybe a combo of letting off and toeing just a tad early, pulling ya flat on the apex, absolutely killing exit with the track being heavy like that. Then again, that's my take. Take it for what it's worth (if any). Gotta say, exciting! Damn I'm all tensed-up, hell -- I's even leaning' a bit (till I caught myself -- said "What the Hell?", and chuckled). I was helping' all I could!!!! :) Good stuff!!! A shout-out to Mr. Dave and Son - you guys rock!!!!

Great job guys. I've been out or kart racing for a while but the sound of a motor bogging down is a sound you dont forget. It could be as simple as an air pressure adjustment or compound. Always keep a durometer with you. We ran 5 lbs on left side and 6 lbs on right side on soft clay track and 7 lbs and 8 lbs on hard clay track. I'm sure Mr. Dave has forgot more then i will ever know about karting. It looks like your in good hands.

Youngblood Yarborough is the best in karting right now seen him win many races this year. You’re getting there man. That track looks wet all the time, roll the inside of your tires with inside prep. There’s many preps out there but Haskins Tire Treatments & Hi-Tech never let me down. Low air pressure. Gotta get tires punchin soft (38-45) on durometer for conditions like that. Need bite in your tire to grip the track you shouldn’t be sliding like you do. Lastly riding the brake kills speed whether it’s through straight aways or corners i never touch the brake. Love HTF & you’re getting better 13th out of 40 is not bad at all man good job

Your getting better seat time is key. I think your starts were better tonight than last time on the track. For what little seat time you have you did very good at this event. Keep your chin up and get on the track every chance you get even if its only a test and tune session just to get more seat time. What happened to Johnathon thought he was going to come to this race. Did the weather keep him away? Have a great week. God Bless!!!

If you want to race up front you've got to have about 5 or 6 sets of tires to race on. Practice on a set, qualify on a set and then race on a set. That's how the big guys that travel all over the place stay so fast. Yarbrough wins all over the country so wherever he goes he's usually collecting a paycheck lol

Looked like you needed to add a tooth of gear so you get more push off the corner. Also you don't need to hit the brake going in. "Burp" the kart. Let off the gas then immediately put her back to the floor. This sets the go kart. I would assume your running somewhere around 60% of cross. So when you "Burp" the kart it transfers the weight to the left front which makes it stick. if you set the kart on level ground your left front is off the ground so when your on the gas all the torque has all the weight shifted on the back wheels well when you left off the gas it shifts that weight. Kind of like riding a four wheeler. when you have it matted and let off it pushes your body forward. Same concept. When you hit the brake your adding friction which kills your roll speed. Also try droping a 1/2 lb of air pressure. Been messing with karts for 20 years.

Man your doing good...only thing I suggest is learn some better throttle control on how much to let off...usually you can let off going in and feel the kart "set" and that's when you throttle out the turn (usually about the apex of the turn)...and also learn to hit the same line every lap! Consistency is your best friend...do everything the exact way every lap...but that's just some of my opinions man not no criticism...you'll get there man
