It's a pretty bright mouthpiece. I would say that the Conn Transitional was better able to absorb the high overtones more effectively than the 2 other horns and sound good. With that in mind I would pick the Transitional as having a better sound over all, probably.
Great video. Great playing on every sax. The best performance was on the Conn Transitional. However, I believe that your setup for the 10M was not ideal. Those opening notes had the 10M knockout drops effect that I have come to expect from a 10M, however the instrument's response was varied throughout its range in intonation. The Transitional response was more pleasing. However, because you play so well, I believe this is either individual instrument (depending on its history) or setup-based only. Therefore, this should be repeated after the 10M is overhauled. IMHO. Great video!
Transitional sounds marvellous
Conn forever (L) The Conn Sound 1919-1945 is the best sound ever in a sax
I like both the Transitional and the 10M. Just can not decide which one I like best.

I like the transitional K
I like more the transitional....
Hi Artem! Thanks for the comparison. What is your main go to tenor of choice? I like all 3, Transitional is my pick.
I love Conn, but is not my saxophone, I just had it a couple of days at home. I play Selmer SA II
@@JazzFabrique Yeah they're great horns! I use to have Selmer Series II, it was a cracking good player! Thanks for the message, Happy New Year 2022!
Great video and 🎷 👍. Is it hard to switch from selmer 'modern' mechanics and the conn ? Ty
I personally preferred the 10m, but I might be biased because that's what I play
What's the mouthpiece being used? Horns do not respond to the same mouthpiece necessarily in the same way.
Viza Bebop mouthpiece
What year is the 10M?
