Love the Conn Transitional (1933), I play a 32. Mind you the 10M, you can see the fuss!! Love it!! The Conn Transitional (1933) with the reverb kicks along!!!

The transitional is a big warm full sounding horn. I have a 1933 s/n 257057 since 1976. Never ever will replace it.

Congratulations, 10M's beautiful voice, darker and fuller sound. The 2 saxes are fantastic. Big hug from Brazil!

I love “Fried Bananas”’ & Dexter is my favorite Tenor player ! 10 M wins but not by much. I play a late model Mk VI but looking for a pre WWII horn like a Conn

Both horns run to the dark side, but the 10M sounds more focused as someone else noted, and maybe not quite as vintage? At any rate, it seems like the 10M would be more versatile for modern playing.

depends on which mouthpiece is on . the tonality is different. so dark sounds is a more vintage as well as mark 6 get a more preferable acceptance . the transitional is a much more rarity than 10m. i m not against to 10m.

The 10M just had that little extra.

10M for a more focused (core) sound and a cross over appeal to multiple genres of music. The tube sounds like it has less (brass) density.
