Years ago I had a french easel. I don't understand why one doesn't move on to one of those lightweight easels like the Plein Air Pro, which I have. Enjoyed your video and I love haybales!!!! When it goes cold, I defer to photos I keep in a photo file on my computer and stay indoors in the studio!

Loving this video, I find you so real and honest …..every time I’m in a field painting , I also freak out thinking , they’ll come in and tell me off or worse , come with the slurry spreader! Happy painting xx

I think painting over the lightest parts of the sky last as you did for the wire often gives a bit of a light bloom effect sort of how we see in our eyes and in camera lenses that gives the scene a more dynamic quality, especially when painting against the sun.

It’s OK when you make a thick line with your paint brush, you just narrow it with your sky color. You don’t have to completely paint it out just paint your sky around the line.

Use a mole stick . U rest your hand , then paint.
