This truly is the budget EDC pocket knife to beat. I do have a little bit of button stick on my Green Pyrite but I feel like it will work in over time. Can't complain for 30 bucks.
I would love to see a stonewashed blade with Flat Dark Earth/Coyote Brown.

They should’ve skeletonized the liners. My only gripe! Also, rpm9 has basically the same edge retention as 154cm in my experience! China knives are getting wayyy better these days!

That Ultem, (or Ultex) handle and stuff on your previous OG Pyrite, that yellowish material is what I use exclusively for guitar picks...im a musician. Interesting to see it potentially being used here 😊!
Yeah, ultem is used in a lot of stuff. When I was a big vaper, ultem mouth pieces were the way to go. Persol just released ultem sunglasses too 🤣

Ultem (or Ultex) I'd used pretty heavily as guitar picks for awhile now. It just sounds amazing 🤷🏽♂️. Cool to see it being used for other things
I honestly don't like knives that are too light. They feel insubstantial to me. My lower limit is 3 oz, unless it's a really tiny knife. 4-5 oz is about perfect for me.

Does this shake open like the original stainless one, or does it have the better detent like on the wharnie pyrites?
If you absolutely full arm whip it, yes. But if you shake it violently... no. Yes, The detent is in line with the Alt-pyrite wharny.
