1. A vertical shaft is rotating over foot step bearing at 600 rpm. Its face is flat. Diameter of shaft is 90 mm. Co-efficient of friction is 0.05. Axial load over shaft is 10 kN. Assuming uniform pressure condition, find out power loss due to friction.
2. A foot step bearing of diameter 225 mm supports the load of 7.5 kN. Co-efficient of friction is 0.09 and shaft is rotating at 600 rpm. Find out power loss due to friction. Assume uniform pressure condition.
3.A vertical shaft is rotating over foot step bearing at 600 rpm. It's face is flat. Diameter of shaft is 90 mm. Co-efficient of friction is 0.05. Axial load over shaft is 10 kN. Assume uniform wear condition. Find out power loss due to friction.
4. A foot step bearing of diameter 225 mm supports the load of 7.5 kN. Co-efficient of friction is 0.09 and shaft is rotating at 600 rpm. Find out power loss due to friction. Assume uniform wear condition.
5. A conical bearing having average diameter of 200 mm. It is subjected to 40 kN of axial load. Semi cone angle is 45°. Co-efficient of friction is 0.05. Find out friction power loss for 100 rpm rotation.
6. A collar bearing having inner diameter 30 mm and outer diameter 40 mm. It supports 10 kN axial load. Co efficient of friction of bearing surface is 0.05. Shaft rotates at 100 rpm. Find out power loss. Assume uniform wear condition.
7. A multi collar bearing has 5 flat collars. It's inner diameter is 30 mm and outer diameter is 40 mm. It supports 10 kN axial load. Co efficient of friction of bearing surface is 0.05. Shaft rotates at 600 rpm. Find out power loss. Assume uniform wear condition.
8.In a multi collar bearing having 6 collars and internal and external radii are 80 mm and 100 mm respectively. It transmits 20 kN axial load. Co efficient of friction is 0.06. Shaft rotates at 600 rpm. Find out power lost in friction. Assume uniform wear condition.
9. There are six flat collars over the thrust of a boat. Inner diameter is 250 mm and outer diameter is 500 mm. Thrust by propeller is 90 kN. Coefficient of friction is 0.12. If engine is running at 120 rpm, find out power loss due to friction. Assume following conditions. (1) Uniform pressure (2) Uniform wear. Which condition is desirable for desinging? Why?
10. In a multiple plate clutch total numbers of driving & driven plates are 5, which results in 4 friction surfaces. If permissible contact pressure between plates is 0.127 N/mm2, Fid power transmitted at 600 rpm. Inner and out radii of plates are 75 mm and 125 mm. Take coefficient of friction as 0.35 and assume uniform wear.
11. A multi-plate friction clutch transmits 110 kW power at 3600 rpm. If coefficient of friction of frictional surfaces is 0.2 and axial pressure is limited to 320 kN/m2. Internal radius of friction ring is 80 mm and is 0.7 times of outer radius. Determine number of plates required to transmit the given power assuming uniform wear condition.
12. A multi-plate friction clutch transmits 55 kW power at 1800 rpm. If coefficient of friction of frictional surfaces is 0.1 and axial pressure is limited to 160 kN/m2. Internal radius of friction ring is 80 mm and is 0.7 times of outer radius. Determine number of plates required to transmit the given power assuming uniform wear condition.

Ha sir badhu samjay che tame badha j subject na banavo video amne helpful thay che 😊❤
Very nice friend 😊
Keep Progressing 🎉
Ha sir aava video banavta rejo tamara videos thi akdam clear concept thay che.
Sure friend.
Ex 4 maa uniform wear ma T = μWR/2 equation aave to tame T= 1/2 μwr kam li dhu ??
Friend, both equations are the same.
Tamara video joyne hu gtu ma pass thayo ❤
Very Nice. Keep Progressing Friend 😊
Bhai su vachi neu gaya hta?
😊
Hu pan ame college ma completa bhanata nahi pan video 😅
Haji banavo sir theory easily yadd re Eva video
Sure friend. I am preparing it.
Sir thank you so much aa exampal hu last 1 week thi solv karva no try karto hato but nata thata pan have tamara video joi ne aa example bahu easy lage che thenk you so much sir....!✨

Sir GTU na pepar ma આંખો દાખલો સાચો હોય અને ખાલી જવાબ એકલો ખોટો હોય તો 0 Mark ganay ke 1 marks kapay
Hu akho dhakalo lakhu su pan khali aeno javab nahi aekalo nahi lakato please reply ❤
Marks of steps will be given.
Very good sir😃
Keep Learning 😊
Thank u sar
Welcome Friend 😊
Hello sir, ex 8 ma R1=0.05m ,R2=0.04m aave because 100mm is diameter and 80mm is also diameter of circle
This example is from the GTU question paper. In the English version radii is given as 50 mm and 100 mm. It is different in the Gujarati version. You have to consider the English version as authentic. So, 100 mm and 80 mm are the radius as per the English version.
Thank you sir😊
Welcome Friend 🤗
Sir aa example ketla marks maa puchay
About 3 to 4 marks.
Question 9 nu simplify Karo ne uniform pressure nu plz🙏
Ok friend
