Today was a day my brother called over and we had a lot of stuff to sort out so Lay stayed at home and we ended up eating a lot. Lay cooked lunch and my mom cooked for dinner so it turned out to be Filipina girlfriend vs Irish mom cook off

I just want to give you a little advice about the pasta as being Italian...after the pasta is finished wash the pasta to remove the starch. Use warm water because cold water will Shock the pasta and give it a gummy texture..and next pour hot butter over the pasta so the pasta doesn't stick together...why is this important.. because pasta is easier to roll on your fork if all the spaghetti is separate..in Italy we make homeemade pasta so this is not a issue...it seems so simple but just using hot butter really changes everything ❤

Ahhh, yorkshire pudding. My dad was English, my mom Irish, my Irish grandmother taught me how to make yorkshire pudding! Love it.
Lay the secret to cooking a wonderful meal is to sing as you are cooking. No matter what it is you are making even a grilled cheese or a Roast beef dinner if you sing it will always taste better. When you cook with love everything taste better.

Here in the States they give you money back for the Bottles. Beer bottles and soda bottles are 5 cents each and wine and other booze bottles are 15 cents each cans are 5 cents each. Not every State does this although I am not sure why. They also pay you for things to Recycle like washers dryers fridge stoves. Anything pretty much I knew a guy that worked in the ship yard they build ships for the navy so on and when a brass tip gets hit or dinged then change it out and toss the brass tip on the floor. The guy would go around and collect them and each year cash them in and make well over 1000 usd. He asked me to help him load this Brass in his truck in 5 gallon buckets and I said sure by the time the truck was loaded I went with him to cash them in and he collected 3500 dollars. I said Damn and he smiled and said just part of the perks working there.
You cook the comfort food I grew up eating. I still eat tons of carrots and broccoli steamed and with spices. I think I want to buy an air fryer now. Great video guys.

Yorkshire Pudding! Nice! Seems it’s first time Lay has tried it. I am Fil married to a Brit so I have learned to make Yorkshire Pudding and Sauces (bread sauce, cheese sause, onion sauce, etc), so we can have them here in Asia. 😊

Yes. Chicken wings to be exact since you guys both love chicken wings. Whip up buffalo style sauce w/c consists of melted butter, hot sauce such as sriracha, little lemon juice ,salt and pepper and Voila!

@@mr.g1683 Yes. That is called Yorkshire pudding. There are so many variations of pudding and this is the savory variety...not the sweet or dessert one. It is usually paired with roast beef. I make this often here in Canada, but this is more of English. Delicious with gravy as well.

I was born in the Philippines and lived there til I was 14. Anyways I never did like the filipino style pasta with the sweet sauce. I guess it is due to the Italian part or Spanish part of me. By the way I think the sweet sauce spaghetti originated from Tennessee where they use bbq sauce instead of tomato sauce.

PH don't have that machine for bottle but PH have junkshops that will buy your used glass bottles and plasticware that called (kalakal) per kilo and there are segration trash bin. the only issue is there are undisciplined citizen in PH that dumping their trash improperly.
