I dont know if Montreal has enough gas to beat the jets but going to be a great series nevertheless!
All Canada's teams are trash
@@LittleBoyFatMan um, without sakic and Roy (both Canadian players) you would have no cups.

Here in 2024, the Canucks advanced and the Leafs choked again in the 1st round
Passing of the torch
I hope this series teaches all you Leaf fans/media a little bit about being humble.
LOOK SHT HEAD ALL THE REAL LEAF FANS HAVE BEEN HUMBLE SINCE 67
People from Toronto don’t know what humility is regardless of how many failures they endure.
Yes ,, true
@@4lifecuba Tell your media cause they said the Leafs were winning the cup all season basing arguments on regular season stats. When will Toronto ever learn.😂😂
I can’t believe this Carey Price is a certified legend and I was happy to see the real captain Gallagher get a goal 🔵⚪️🔴
LOVED IT GO HABS GO
Dear toronto having a great time in the playoffs wish you were here
montreal
gl against the jets
Ever since I was born in late 2004 they never won a series since, I think I’m the curse behind this team, but as much as they break my heart, I’ll always bleed blue and white, a true fan will always be a fan no matter what.
Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment inc. thanks you
Back again after another leafs game 7 loss
Price!! Worked hard for the W. Indigenous pride.
As a Canadiens fan who really thought we would have been swept by this Leafs team, I have to say this could not have gone better.
Came back from 3-1
Two wins back to back in OT while facing elimination
Toronto seeded 1st and Canadiens seeded 4th in division
First time we play each other in a playoff series since 1979 (which is crazy!)
I don't care what happens next, this was the best Playoffs since 1993.
congratulations leafs!
you have now joined my ny rangers as having the longest drought in nhl history.
54 years and counting!!!
They actually passed NY
I remember where I was this night. I refused to watch the game cause I knew the Leafs were gonna blow it, so I just played PS5 all night while everyone else upstairs watched. I made the right decision. I'll never forget the betrayal I felt after the team did this to me.
Toronto is just another breed of sports pain and suffering, and unlike other cities where people feel bad for them, people enjoy nothing more than relishing in our suffering.
Only 3 things in life are certain: death, taxes, and the Maple Laughs choking in the playoffs
Coming from a Canucks fan. Lmao. Get out
@@twe8k Laughs chocked again, get out
@@twe8k loser since 1967 awful since 2004
lol leafs still celebrating 1967
@@twe8k At least we made it past the first round last year.
Oh Lord who are in Montreal, Price be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will make the save on earth to bring us to heaven. Give is thy daily bread and forgive those who choke on it and forgive us for enjoying watching it happen. Lead us not to elimination but deliver us the cup. Amen.
Hey at least we got to see the leaf's play in may, first time for everything.
To quote a certain yinzer, "YOU LOST?! YOU HAVE ALL THAT FORWARD TALENT AND YOU DON'T EVEN SCORE A GOAL?! WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?! CAN YOU DO SOMETHING BESIDES SH-T THE BED IN SERIES ENDING GAMES?!"
Shameful f-cking display, Toronto!
Ah a man of culture can’t wait for his congrats leafs vid
Marner: 10,903,000M
Matthews: 11,604,000M
Total: 22,507,000M for two regular season players. Lol
40M for 4 actually
Corey Perry 750K.
Can’t teach winning.
Add mc David and Drisil 40 million for 3 wins between them
You know what’s funny as a Sabres fan? Taylor Hall and Eric Staal both STILL in the playoffs and have a chance of winning the Stanley Cup. I want to die.
CONGRATULATIONS TORONTO, YOUR TEAM STILL CAN’T MAKE IT PAST THE FIRST ROUND OF THE PLAYOFFS!!!
"...is too good right now"
@@georgeblair3894 No, that’s Pekka Rinne. Speaking of that, Leafs should get him.
No amount of front-line workers in the stands could have saved this team from choking.
Ouch hahahaha
Should be lots of Leafs jerseys for very cheap on Ebay and Kijiji tomorrow! LOL
I didn’t know what habs I was going to get this series. Luckily we got the habs that are very aggressive and are willing to go into scrubs. What a series and hopefully many more! Go habs go!
All Canada's teams are trash
@@LittleBoyFatMan Go Quebec Nordiques
@@LittleBoyFatMan Btw your best goalers defensemen and foward was canadians when you won the cup

So much for the overhyped Leafs/Oilers series lol
Overpaid “superstars” who go missing after the regular season
Eichel > Matthews
If Matthews was on the sabres he’d be trash
No most logical people said leafs in five based on their regular season and roster. This team is just full of overpaid chokers like Marner.
Congrats for the most boring over-stated comment. None of the "superstars" went missing - both teams just ran up against better teams with more depth and defensive talent. Both the Jets and Habs had tough losing streaks during the regular season but when they were flying they were unbeatable.

Priceless

Islanders without their captain - Second round. Toronto without their captain - can't get out of first with a 3-1 lead.

Great job Leafs! You played exceptionally. You could almost beat the Sabres with the performance you had tonight!
The Habs certainly deserve a huge pat on the back, for completing that big comeback...."GHG"

@@sepandjazzi Wait wait wait. Are they actually related? Connection never occurred to me.
probs not 😂...
Price won them this series. Fantastic goalie when it counts. There were a few times this series was one goal from being over and a 4-1 win for Toronto and he shut it down. Congrats Montreal
I kinda thought Montreal would make a comeback in the series.
Meanwhile, in Montreal, Habs fans were shooting off fireworks downtown, jumping up and down and screaming, haha. So awesome (except for the placement of the fireworks, haha).
In Toronto the Leafs fall in spring!
Hey Sportsnet .... could you possibly concentrate more on the Leafs? You'd think by watching this that the entire game was played in the Canadiens end. It wasn't. I'm surprised that your biased network at least showed the Habs goals.
Carey Price's number 31, Game on March 31, Score 3-1, Leafs gave up a 3-1 series lead to the Habs
7:26….was there a parade down Yonge Street when Nylander scored?😮
The Maple Leafs need to trade Marner
Agreed.
And Matthews.
Marner put up numbers in the post season. Matthew’s was a ghost.
Some says Price is overpaid
Price’s contract is a tough one. I flip-flop on it on a monthly basis every season lol One fact that I think most people can agree on is that this post-season ROI for Price’s $10M/year contract far outweighs the post-season ROI for both Marner’s and Matthews’ similar contracts.
Montreal and Toronto are the best Canadian team. Thanks guys for bright game.
Habs wanted it more than Toronto since they came back from a 3-1 deficit. Heart wins in the playoffs, not superstar talent
The Habs won game 7 on May 31 by a score of 3-1 to overcome a 3-1 series deficit with huge help to their starter # 31 and Toronto had 31 shots on goal
Toronto - the Next Year Champions for the 54th year in a row.
Price is the best goalie in the world hands down
Carey Price played well, no doubt. If I was coaching against Price my players would get one strict order, roof everything, no shots on the ice, ever.
Carey took the price this game 😎
