Thanks for the review. I got one from a friend and wanted to make sure mine wasn't faulty. I can't believe it takes 4 hours to charge and on high you barely get an hour n a half.
Hey Jeff!, thanks for the really good review! I was going to buy this when I saw it for $19.99 in Buffalo at either Burlington Coat Factory, T.J. Maxx or Marshalls I can't remember which one but now that I know it's not really worth it I'm glad I did not buy it! Keep up the good reviews!!!
I live off grid no electricity at my man cave. I depend on my solar array and boy do i love love love it. I like the usb rechargable feature. I think im gonna have to try that out. Thanks
I use this as a desk fan and it’s always allowed me to use it while charging, I have never even tried to use the mister lmao, I didn’t know it was there
I just bought one and I LOVE it. I stay in my car and make $50K+ a year detailing vehicles. The only thing I don't like about it is the drip from the condensation build-up. Other than that, I'm gonna buy the $40 one not the $80 one and use a converter. PEOPLE YOU NEED VENTILATION... you can't roll your windows up and EXPECT it to WORK. When I get the bigger one going next week, we shall see and I'll comment if you can roll your windows up... Ice water that's already really cold work evaporates quick though i tried pellet ice with a lil bit of water and it lasts longer.
Also to answer your question to make it be able to run in charge at the same time would it cost the factory an extra two dollars in parts that two dollars would equate to $20 when they sold it so they would have to charge $20 more that difference in price would mean a lot less people would be suckered into buying it
I thought you were more than fair in the testing of this. I’m just not impressed with the run time And the lack of being able to run it off a power source continuously. As always thanks for your honest review
Yeah, I’m gonna take mine back. I just opened it and it wasn’t charged but I’m gonna go get the one that’s $10 and it will literally it will last long time like longer than four hours and it has three speed so thanks for the review. made my decision it’s going back. I’m getting my $30 back.
I saw you with on your 4 wheeler. I live in Florida and it gets hot on my trike. This might be the answer in front of my windshield. I have usb chargers on my trike. If it can not run while charging, it has no use for me.
I enjoy it for it's portable size, and the mist makes a major impact for me, BUT the key problem I have is the lack of reliability for the misting. The misters only really pump if you've fully charged it after about 2 weeks of use. So if you are running it off the charger, don't expect the misters to work well until you are nearly charged. And halfway in, they die down to a tiny stream of mist, even appear like one side isn't working. Frustrating for sure, but expected for the price.
@@Jeffreviews4u that’s the same thing that they told me too. I ordered the ChillZone XL and they said it’s in back order. I’m hoping this one is a better unit. I’m looking for one to replace my older Arctic Air Pure Chill XL
@Chrisfishermanbiker314 the biggest difference between the two XLs is that the chill zone xl allows you to turn off the mist feature. Other features are very similar.
@@Jeffreviews4u that’s actually an improvement since in the other ones we’ve been trying to turn if the mist but it turns off with the fan. Pretty cool that you can turn it off now.
Run and charge time is awful. The mist option shouldn't always be on. Also the fact you can't use just any power brick and it doesn't run continuously while plugged isn't good. They should have included a power brick. It visually looks well made but unfortunately doesn't perform as well as it looks. Good review. As always you cover all details. 💕
I wouldn’t waste my money buying something like that because it doesn’t really cool you if they simply put a differential plate in the back of the fan with holes in it it would be a mini air conditioner I have tried to get a company like Ryobi to build it I build one myself by simply buying a 2995 differential plate and hooking it up to a battery one side of the plate is warm and the other side of the plate is about 5° so when the air passes through it it doesn’t matter how hot the air is it will come out at about 40° or so this would be so easy for a company to make and sell it would use a lot of power and the fan would cost like Ryobi’s fan In the overall price would probably be about $100 but it would really work and it would be worth it I have had no luck trying to get in touch with Ryobi to make this product but I’m sure eventually someone will realize how easy it is to make your video was very good and I’m sure it shows people not to waste their money
What is a "differential plate"? That sounds interesting. I have a lot of Ryobi tools. Was looking at this fan to keep my laptop cool. I'm a DJ and it's been so hot it's hard to do outdoor events lately.
Mine sprays the water out very intensely. You'll get soaked and it'll empty the full tank in about 5-10 minutes and it can run when charging/ plugged in it just has to be decent amount of charge in order for it to work. But I Def wouldn't recommend it or buy another one. Too much hassle and not enough bang for the buck. I guess it'd be good for watering a plant or something because it sprays the water way too heavily
I just got one, and I must say, you expected a lot for 30 bucks…it's exactly what I expected as a normal clip-on with a cord goes for about 15 bucks..you're paying the extra 15 for the charging capability..
I buy the majority of items I review. I have a PO box where companies sometimes send me things at random, some of which I review, others I do not. I haven't opened the waterproof case yet lol. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
Thank goodness i listened to my subconscious for not purchasing that from my local Rite Aid pharmacy, that thing is garbage since you do more charging than getting usage from it , 4 freaking hours to charge and it only runs for an hour give or take a little.
Thanks for the review. I got one from a friend and wanted to make sure mine wasn't faulty. I can't believe it takes 4 hours to charge and on high you barely get an hour n a half.
I have one and I like it. It saves me from running my ac when it's about 90 degrees or less.
Excellent review. It has definitely influenced my purchasing decision.

I may get it in the feature. Will you be reviewing the Arctic Air ChillZone XL and the Arctic air outdoor?
Chillzone XL will be posting soon, I had to order the outdoor unit and was told it was on backorder. It's not for sale locally.

I had it for a week and only 1side
Of the mist works. What went wrong and can it be opened up?
As you went on it just kept going down in appeal and function . You gave it a good try though !
I was hopeful but it kind of disappointed. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
I might get one if it sprayed out gold dust...
maybe the run and charge shortage is due to something technical internally , like maybe a protection against burning ?
I got mine plugged in right now right out the box in my car and it works... 😮
Why the colours ? What purpose do they serve ?

What would you say is the longest lasting cooling fan, that is also quiet and portable? My daughter needs one for in school and this one is to loud.

That would of been great when I was doing housekeeping 4 my caddy.

I didn’t think it was too bad. I mean for what u getting and 4 hour run time is not bad.
Was it cool, though? Did it blow real cool air? Like a mini portable AC? I need something that's blows real cool air.

Yes it does blow cool air but it's rather small so you need to have it next to you in order to feel the cool air
And one side stopped working out of the blue

I've tried about 5 different charger blocks and one power back, nothing will charge this thing. What are you guys charging with?
