    I travel with a eFluky travel fan. It works on low for hours and hours. I'm using it in a hotel room right now. Best travel gadget I take along. Thank you for this fan review and too bad about the kickstand.

    This is my all-time favorite,most practice and most used small gadget..I have immediate relief from hot flashes everywhere I go. It sips water and the 2 mist ports are almost invisible but effective. It's the size of my phone ,lightweight, powerful ⁹and simple to charge( which is long lasting). I only wish it had a strap or handle and that the off light was first instead of last since I don't need or care about the light.

    I just got one from the “As Seen On Tv” section at Walmart near the registers. It was $20. This was the only small portable fan Walmart had available. My other portable fan I had was by the brand O2Cool. It was a portable rechargeable neck fan. I had that one for less than a month and it broke. It got over heated in the charger once and stopped working. Tried to fix it before getting a new one but wasn’t successful.
    I didn’t know with the pocket chill that you had to use only the charging cable that came with it. I was wondering why when I was using my iPhone charger for it that it wasn’t really charging and was getting over heated.

    I absolutely love this product!! I found a brand new one at a thrift store for $5.00. Filled it with sonic ice and ice cold water…VOILA!! I am a landscaper and this works so much better than the arctic air freedom. I know u can wear the freedom around ur neck BUT…the freedom blows out hot air…which sucks tbh this product blows out ice cold air.

      $5 os a deal, and adding Sonic ice is a great idea! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 🙂

    With the light turned off, on medium, I can get up to six hours.
    A very helpful tip, is that, when I was required to wear a cloth covid mask, no fan would cool my face down. But when I used my air cooler at my work station, it would cool the mask down and thus my whole face wouldn't feel like it was in a sweltering jungle.
    Actual cool water with the air made a big difference

    I actually just found one of these laying on the ground. Looks damn near brand new. Glad I found the video that way I know all about it. Thank you very much. But I was wondering if you put some crushed ice in that place where water goes, would that cause the fan to blow out colder air Along with an ice cold mist as the ice melts?

    • @Jeffreviews4u
      @Jeffreviews4u  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's possible but the reservoir isn't insulated so the ice would probably melt fast. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍

      Mine works up to six hours with the light off. Less than six hours on high, light on or light off. What's great though is that, like with the other ones, the box shaped air coolers that you pour water into, that run off of usb, you can run it off of a cell phone charger battery. I did that with my other air coolers are work. So, even if you run out of power, just hook an external battery charger for a cell phone, and it can run off of that.

      Well if you keep lights on they get dimmer when low battery so there is that atleast

    I live in the desert so this wouldn't be bad during peak summer. I use one of those rectangular O2cool fans while outside but once the air starts getting above body temp it just makes it worse so having the mist feature would be nice during the above 100 degree days.

    I think this little fan could work for traveling or in a work space that has no AC. I like that it's compact and wouldn't take up much space in a suitcase or desk.

    Those devices work great in low humidity areas. If you live along the Texas Gulf coast they don't work.
    I remember a company in Houston bought several for their shop hoping it will cool it down. All it did was
    bring up the humidity up to 95% and all of their tools started to rust.
    If you go out West you could get some relief but not like a window air conditioner.

    • @lisab.3091
      @lisab.3091 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's right. It's because these all work on the principle of evaporative cooling. They provide no cooling effect in humid environments.

    I have a Geek Aire power bank fan. Cost me $20 on sale. Charges via USB, runs for hours on low with it's built in 2600mA power bank (detachable). With an auxillary power bank attached to it, it runs for hours on high. It can be hand-held or may be used freestanding in its small weighted charging dock, but also comes with a wrist lanyard. Has 5 speeds. Began taking it with me to dine at restaurants outdoors last summer. Just placed it on the tabletop. So many people came up to ask me where I purchased it that I should get a commission. 4.8 stars on Amazon, though it's currently $42 there, $36 at Walmart.

      This one is soooo much better!! You can add small ice cubes and cold water to it so it blows out ice cold mist!! I love it!! I work outside (landscaper) and on breaks I use the arctic air pocket chill.

    How do you make the colors cycle through instead of staying 1 colors? This works well inside my bedroom without ac while the mist is coming out, not to cool the room just me, but after the water runs out which doesn't take long it is just a fan. I haven't tried it outside yet

    • @24ktlifestyle

    Nevertheless, I think it's a good device, I just got one that's malfunction

    Jeff, after Arctic Air's last scam with their deluxe Cool Chill with the ultraviolet light that provides the worst night light of any model they have had. The last 3 models seems to clog up after about a week in use and I was using either bottled or filtered water. Every time they try to improve their products, they make them totally worst. The only honor the warranty once and come right out and tell you that by them replacing the unit (s), they have honored their warranty and will no longer replace anymore units. Getting warranty service from them takes hours while being placed on hold many times. When they do replace the unit (s), they have a habit of replacing them with a totally different model than the one you originally had. I am not basing my comments on just one unit. My relationship with Arctic Air goes back to their original model that was not without problems but certainly worked better than any models that superseded it. Even the Walmart Stores got sick and tired of all the returns of their product that they stopped carrying them in their stores and made them only available from their website. After the last four units that I purchased from them failed, I just gave up and brought them to their final resting place...The Dumpster. I highly recommend that people do not waste their money on Arctic Air Products or the same product carrying a different label. I'm sorry I had to ruin your review but this company and their scamming ways needed to be exposed.
