Ballarat City Fire Station has been turned in to Fire Rescue Victoria Fire Statation NO. 67 and has Pumper 67A, Pumper 67B, Ladder Platform 67, Protective Gear 67, Tech Rescue 67. Ballarat City fire station is now called Ballarat Fire Station and is located like they said a few 100 meters away from FRV 67.
Ballarat is the 3rd largest city in Victoria. A fire station in the heart of of it needs suburban equipment. A small (relative) town near me has a pumper (suburban fire truck) because it’s big enough to warrant it. Most fire trucks of the CFA is are tankers which are more country than pumpers
Hi I have someone that I know that lives in Ballarat and he said the only good thing there is the train station. This video has changed my mind. Still going off my tits that you have 13 fire officers in there. Building must be bigger than the town.
australian responders If you’re acting like a dumb kid you get shit, that’s the internet bruh. Think about your actions. Also I hear you’re pretending to be a firefighter with either FRV or QFRS? How pathetic.
Yes, this is Ballarat ‘City’ Fire Station and most appliances are urban tanker, pumper & ladder trucks. Check out the historic‘Ballarat’ Fire Brigade - about 8 - 10mins across town, in the video tour on the same page, you will get a better sense of the 4x4 brush trucks (pumper/tankers) that serve a more rural / urban interface on the SE side of Ballarat. May try to dig up some images of the Forest Fire Victoria trucks (FFV) as well, they are tasked with the CFA to manage the pine plantations, bush land and rural property outside the Ballarat ‘City’ - it’s a bit like a small incorporated US City FD and the surrounding rural County FD and then the State Dept of Forestry FD or USNP PD. But check out the old station of the Ballarat Fire Brigade, a great late 1800s station and watch tower - original bell and one of the finest silverware collections in the State! Thanks for checking in. Stay safe.
Just showed this to my 3yr old son here in the UK. He loved it, thank you!

That fire fighting brigade does not have to deal with high rise fires yet. Their equipment and gear is tailored to a suburban location.

He didn't seem interested on giving the tour & why does a town need 2 stations
Bigger cities have more stations for more coverage and to cut down response times
@@MrTenor-ch5gs i understand that,but Ballarat doesn't need 2 stations
peter barber Why’s that?
@@AJ-dv7hf ballarat is not big enough to have 2 stations
peter barber Why though? Low population? Geographical size? Etc...?
I didnt see any true brush trucks
