I completely agree with you, it’s truly sad to see. When you think about how hundreds of years ago, slavery lasted for generations, with people enduring torment and unimaginable ill-treatment, it’s remarkable that despite all of that, in places like Brazil, Cuba, and many other countries, indigenous African culture and religion ( Especially Yuroba Culture Ifa to be precise) have not only survived but continue to be practiced today. These traditions have been passed down from generation to generation. Yet, in present day Nigeria, there’s still judgment if someone chooses to embrace indigenous African spirituality over Christianity, no matter their tribe. It's truly a shame.
