    Living in poverty without 24/7 light and a corrupt government that makes live harder than it already is. How do the majority of Nigerian people live and what do they go through. How do they tink about their government and how are they able to survive and to smile. How are they able to see the Beauty in their Struggles.
    In part 1 of my Nigeria Documentary serie different Nigerians will tell you their opinion and give you a glimpse of their lives in Nigeria. Is life really that bad, are people able to work? Is corruption really a thing in Nigeria? This documentary will give you answers to these questions.

    I’m a white American man. I was raised in a ghetto in NYC. Growing up my best friend came from Nigeria in 3rd grade. He was Igboe. I have a love for Nigeria, I would love to visit. I also always love when African Woman sing tribal songs together. (any tribe) It sounds beautiful. I don’t understand the words but it makes my heart happy.

    My wife is Nigerian, I'm Zambian, iv lived in the western world like you, and can tell differences. Iv come to care and appreciate Nigeria alot, and I think Nigerians need to start appreciating your country more, there things about Nigeria that not even the western world have.. individual freedoms, access to the most fertile land, good food, great people.. forget the leaders, and make the most of what you have in front of you... one day the problems of Nigeria will be less. How can you tell people living in extreme poverty to ‘appreciate what is in front of them’ what an absolutely ignorant and privileged comment to make. We do not know their struggle and cannot tell them how to feel. Foolish

    • @JesusGodHolySpirit3
      @JesusGodHolySpirit3 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      your comment is foolish to say the least; it's very offensive to the men / women who are living in, around the struggle. Bad leadership spoils everything, even the people's hearts! Your thinking is very immature and have no care in the world! It's not good.

    This breaks my heart! None of this corruption would've happened if the all the tribes got along. Too be quite honest, the Igbos were RIGHT to fight for their OWN land and own THEIR own oil because they knew things like this would've happened.

      @@christianjamesmiller8388 yeah of course I agree. However, a good control of the English language in a country like Nigeria means that she probably had a decent education and could be better off doing some white collar job or living a better life with the knowledge she has. English is still one of our official languages, and a good control of it could be a good thing for anyone looking to get a good job or interact with people internationally. It is not a necessity to speak English, but it is good addition to knowing how to speak your local dialect.

    I have 3 friends in our church community who grew into adulthood in Nigeria and came to the US. I asked why they didn’t vote for different leaders. They said that they’re told if they vote differently, they will be cursed. I was floored. I don’t believe in curses because I know I’m covered by God. This just shows me how much their government has ingrained fear into them for wanting to do what’s best for them! I would vote good leaders into my government. I would take on a “curse” to ensure my children a better future. That’s just my view.

    I have many online friends who live in Nigeria and Ghana. I wish for them and everyone else to have better and more of what is really deserving to them. The talk you gave at the end of this video, actually brought tears to my eyes. I know from my friends telling me, how corrupt the Government of Africa, especially Nigeria, is very very bad. I want my friend/s to come to USA but the government is so strict for Africans to obtain visa's. If we are to come together as one world, Government/Parliament, Africa and America, needs to become more lenient for this to happen. If I were to rule your country, I would be sure everyone got exactly the help and needs that are needed and would no longer be going without food or medicines that are greatly needed. But, I am just an ordinary US citizen. The only way I can actually help is by just being a friend. I cannot send any money to them because US has stopped most US citizens (white,elderly) especially, from sending money in almost all the possible ways. My best goes out to you, your family, and ALL of AFRICA. I LOVE YOU ALL, GOD BLESS AND TAKE CARE AFRICA, ALWAYS

I can blame poverty on the Caucasians here in this country because they are the 1% elite here. I just couldn't imagine that our own people are causing poverty in the Motherland! Smh My heart bleeds for Africa! Why are we doing our own people this way? I will never understand! Do they not believe in Karma? Do these people not have a heart? Are these people even human? Smh Great documentary. This really has opened my eyes to some things and I really just don't know how to feel anymore about this world smh I always dreamed of living in Africa but after watching many videos my plans have changed smh living there would ultimately cause me another battle to fight and another demon to deal with. They are not actually free as they believe......otherwise very informative documentary. Most things I already knew but some things was new to me. Brown people have to work together to help one another in different countries who are less fortunate. Ose!!

      Depend on what your personal definition of freedom is and that is subjective. Thanks!

    Jesus took the fall for all of mankind. He will save you, if you would just cry out to Him. Call upon His name today.
    Romans 10:13
    For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

      @@eyesofchidi Leaders. Your countrymen are your family. How can leaders not care about their own people. That always astounds me. Watching this made me think of not only Africa but Venezuela, China, Haiti and other countries I am learning about where the leaders destroy their own. Sadly, I agree with the farmer that greed and notoriety blinds a person to selfishness. Simple as that. Good video btw.
