“Are Kilo bars liquid when demand for silver is high?” If you happen to believe the U.S. dollar is going to inflate into nothing, then converting your fiat currency to honest money is the goal. With this in mind, I like Kilo bars. So I stack for weight. I like the 10oz for the reasons mentioned above. Slightly more liquid than the Kilo. This not as liquid is a piece of horse crap. Kilo bars are the king of silver, coins are cool and all but the kilo bars are the real deal when you are storing you pm:s somewhere else than in your home in a shoe box. Kilo bars are the only right way to go about it. Yes they are not as handy as the coins if the barter party is coming. But them not being as liquid is a pile of shit. 1 ounce gold bars are less liquid than 1 Kilo bars of silver...

I giggle when he was talking about Sunshine. I was over at a Hiring event (I'm an HR GM) and saw their booth trying to hire people. If they are like my company here in the inland NW probably having a hell of a time getting people to make products.
Dimes & 100 z bars for me. When I need some silver for jewelery I saw a 100 z into 3. @ 1 kilo. each. Then I melt it and usually alloy it to sterling 925 for jewelry strength and stamp it as such.
I like those 1oz Buffalo bars I got 2 of them months back there a bite heavy but there okay later Al look for more... Another great video with Tim 😊
I never had a problem converting 100 ounce bars ever. Sold 3 in the last year. No difference because of size.
When I sold mine they gave me 75 cents less than my 5oz bars
@@nathanaeldubose2955 having a great coin dealer matters. Some shops give below spot, some give spot, and some pay, over spot if they know they can
Make a phone call and flip the coins quick. It pays to shop it around.
@@deebop4904 Do one end up losing money selling bars? I know bars cost less than coins.
Tim doesn't order from Scottsdale?
I own a number of coins. I collect all sorts. Seeing I'm converting my wealth from fiat to metals, I figured I might as well protect them all with capsules. A little more money, but I'll never have to worry of coins falling out
I'm only buying generic rounds and tenth ounce gold until I hit my target amount !!
Stack mostly 5oz but have a few 10oz when I can afford.
Kilo bars are my favorite way to hold silver. Also have some 100oz bars and 1 stack of silver eagles.
Changed my plans on ASE's. Buying Buffalo's instead. The Buff's pack 24 per tube (pack only 20 at mint) and can fit 20 per ammo can for 480 total with room for 20 more in capsules plus desiccant pack. Can't do that with the ASE tubes of 20 only. Picked up 120 Buff's Monday for $28 each. ASE's are running $35-40 each locally.
Picked up the Buffalo and Flag 10oz bars from Highland mint. They’re out there. Came from Dallas vault B
thank you very informative.
I like 10ozt bars so much, I am getting my own 10ozt ARK Silver bars made !
lol its not allowed to be your Christmas yankee! XD. love the chatter
would like to hear people's thoughts on 1 Kilo bars of silver. Nice that they can be bought close to spot although i know they never will bring much of a premium. Are they still liquid when demand for silver is high?
I have a few kilos it’s pretty liquid.
Thet are not as liquid. In 14 years, I have never bought on and never will. They are cheaper, but no thanks. I never buy over 10 oz bars..
@@kevinw9073 you and i may be buying silver for different reasons. in my case i'd like more bulk with as low of price as possible. my goal is to trade for gold when prices rise in order to take advantage of silver's larger volatility. Just trying to figure out how liquid the kilos really are. Thanks for your response!
“Are Kilo bars liquid when demand for silver is high?”
If you happen to believe the U.S. dollar is going to inflate into nothing, then converting your fiat currency to honest money is the goal. With this in mind, I like Kilo bars. So I stack for weight.
I like the 10oz for the reasons mentioned above. Slightly more liquid than the Kilo.
I also like Constitutional coins, ASE and generic rounds... all for different reasons.
Lots of 10 oz RCM bars have shown up recently at the various online dealers. Supply may be catching up finally.
Gorgeous bars, but expensive 🤑
@@rowl748 I've noticed the same, I've stacked them in the past but imo the premium is too high.
I love the 10 oz RCMs...
I bought some kilo bars recently and I love the way it feels. So I think I'll start buying that or bigger
I use to have ever size of bar Sunshine made. They don’t “stack” that well together. Sold them all for that reason. Now only RCM 10 oz bars. My advice is pick a bar and a size you like and stick with it. Can’t have a bunch of dead air space in your treasure chest😁
I been collecting the 1 oz Nadir bars in the assay card.
I just love the deal I get on them.
Working on 10 oz bars too. Love the Geiger Bars.
