- Got my hands on the new Propain Terrel CF which looks great value for money and a bike that ticks all the gravel adventure boxes. Because Propain only sell direct I've kicked off this review with an unboxing to show how the bike arrives in case you're a prospective customer.

I was waiting for this video. cannot wait to hear the review
Your dog is really cute!
Dogs are the best 🥰
Just had a gravel race last weekend, where Propain showed this bike for test rides. Looks really neat and great quality. Seems to me very much like a Santa Cruz Stigmata 4 (for a much better price). Nice builds also with SRAM and suspension fork (corrected geometry). If you‘re in for carbon, don‘t look any further - appears much more attractive than the usual suspects everyone rides (e.g. Canyon..😅). And frameset available… cheers
YES, was so waiting for you to see this bike reviewed on your channel!
Nice to see an English review off the bike. Asked last week when the 2x12 would be available again.
I’ve had a Propain Terrel CF since August and I’m loving it.
When I chose the model, I was still able to pick the Adventure version with 2x12, which is no longer available on the website.
I only have 445km on it so far because work doesn’t allow me much free time, and my boss is a jerk and doesn’t let me have bikes from other brands in the store.
But back to what matters. I’m really loving everything about the bike. It’s super comfortable because of the high front-end geometry, and it’s very agile and fun to ride.
Coming from BMX and Enduro MTB, the 50mm tires are perfect for what I was looking for--- a bike capable of doing everything and handling really rough trails.
Since I’m tall and heavy, the 2x12 drivetrain is great because it gives me all the gear ratios I need to climb without killing my legs, and on flat terrain, it rolls super fast at full speed.
Yeah, the first thing I want to know after tire clearance is can I get it in 2x
Okay that’s a nice looking bike and hopefully rides well. Price is close to Canyon but one shall not forget that not only Canyon is a bigger brand offering wider options of bikes and offering better user experience shopping online and authorized services and then parts supply and then proving their bike’s quality and properties via multiple races wins and sponsoring multiple teams and riders and maintaining several top class showrooms test centers, etc. it’s not only the bike price but the overall product and experience you get when you purchase anything. But the bike and the price seem to be great.
It is a great price and a good looking bike.
Hank Hill's favorite gravel bike.
That comment made me laugh! Well played! 😂
Looks like an interesting one.
How long is frame warranty and what is stem length on the M, interesting to see how good back up is from Propain. Mtb owners may know. Looks decent and udh hanger👍
I tried to spec it a while ago, but was stopped by its race-oriented geometry (I think?). Very long top tube and reach when compared with other similar bikes. Without ability to test it myself, I just passed on it. Really wondering what you'll say about it while riding it.
I think propain have done an excellent job with this bike. Definitely keen to buy one. Does anyone have any recent experience with their customer support and shipping times? Cheers
I'd like to know if you got that bag included with the purchase?
I just can't get on board with carbon gravel bikes. My lovely steel Cotic Escapade is great, and I don't worry about dinging it...which is just as well
Hoe much headset spacers did you order?
Just another bike on the market
Labrador?
It looks a bit like a beefed up Santa Cruz Stigmata
I don’t think 50mm is enough/practical when the fastest gravel tires are either 2.2 MTB tires or 42-42mm legit gravel tires. 50mm gravel tires are slowest
Sure you can squeeze in a 2.2 MTB tires on this bike, but with any mud you’re screwed.
Brands should just release 55mm clearance
What a load of cobblers. Stick some 38C marathon plus on a comfort bike and you can have six for that money.
Shite brand name though innit
Forget the bike - more dog, please.
If that's the selle italia saddle I think it is it's terrible. Way too grippy and also super heavy.
Yeah, that’s the industry’s it needs a saddle on the bike saddle. 😅
I like it on my xc bike
Cube nuroad C: 62 one is cheaper and lighter and has even carbon wheels and carbon seatpost and carbon handlebar.
