I just did the JBX kit on my 2015 Challenger Scat Pack , was fortunate enough to have a buddy with a 4 post lift . This made access so much easier. I was able to drop the rear exhaust only 4 bolts and a couple of electrical wires and let the exhaust hang. It’s tight in there but was able to pull the heat shield 4 bolts and pull out the back side and rotate it out. Cutting out the bracket was the biggest challenge as not much room to get in there used a DeWalt sawzall on one side but had to use a McGraw air operated reciprocating saw (Harbor Freight) $24.99 to reach the other side of the bracket went a bit slower as the blade is smaller but able to cut through the bracket. Also kept one bolt in when cutting out the opposite side to hold the bracket in place . Trim the rubber back around the bearing but leave the rubber coverage on the face of the bearing to clamp the new bracket onto . JBX bracket went on easy torque clamping 6mm hex to 15 ft. lbs. and 13mm head on bracket to frame bolts also 15 ft. lbs. total install was about 2.5 hrs mostly spent on cutting out the original carrier bearing, letting the exhaust hang does create a challenge to access for removing and installing the new carrier bearing bracket. Your choice if you want to pull the exhaust. After installing the driveshaft is absolutely solid no longer bouncing around in the donut style of the original bracket. JBX makes a quality part with a nice finish even though you won’t be able see it but looks good ! No vibration after the installation!
From the research I’ve done on this you didn’t need to strip the bearing down to metal, you can leave a bit of the base rubber as it gives the JXB something to clamp on to. So they say lol I May need to do this on my 16’ Charger so I appreciate the video and seeing the process! Thanks amigo.
Jay at JXB is amazing. I ordered one of these for my RS3 through a dealer and had trouble with them shipping the product. I took a chance and reached out to JXB as the dealer was blaming the "manufacturer for the delay. Jay responded right away. He stated he had not seen a order from the dealer so he reached out to the dealer and what do you know they placed an order. Top notch customer service from JXB. more companies should follow Jay's lead
At $300.00, I can replace more than five stock units for the same price or less. Don't need to replace the entire driveshaft, just the center bearing housing complete.
so whats your strategy and parts to use? $300 for this kit is pricey for something dodge should replace for free to everyone. carrier bearing going out before 80k is rediculous.

I'm your sister in law not your aunt. And i don't race it, I just drive it like I stole it 😂😂😂 love the video. Thank you for always helping me out. ❤

You're correct! They want you to leave the rubber on the bearing. Fortunately i did a terrible job at getting the old rubber off.

I enjoy these videos. Keepm coming.
About to do this on my 16 Scat Challenger. Will try without dropping exhaust.
Were you able to get a good clamp on the bearing after removing the rubber from the bearing? How is it holding up without it?
Its been holding just fine. Thankfully there is plenty of grip. I really should have read the instructions that JXB has posted on their website.
Will this product work on a 2018 300s awd wheel drive?
Check out jxbperformance.com they have a list of vehicles that they offer this kit for.
How has this bracket held up? Still doing a good job ?

I've got over 100k on my 2014 300c Hemi with the factory carrier bearing, still tight and no noise.@@PyrosPelagics
Did you have to lower your exhaust at all?
I did not have to lower the exhaust. I just had to remove the heat shield.
Will that work on a 2015 dodge journey 3.6 awd
Check out jxbperformance.com they have a list of vehicles that they offer a kit for.
I bought a whole new driveshaft for $377 after tax and shipping lol
She’s not your aunt 😂😂😂
