Great information and thank you for posting. I'm looking to buy a passenger van and your bonus video of the live auction provided me will all the information I needed. Thank you again. Cheers!
Very cool video - thank you for the information. So you paid roughly $14,500-$15,000 after taxes/fees, etc. According to your KBB, that's approximately what you would have paid at a dealer. Do you know how much the price would have been buying it from an individual at the time? Or do you know how much you really ended up saving?
Thanks for watching. I don't think I saved much if anything but I believe that this would have been at the low end of what an individual would sell it for at the time. I think a realistic goal going into these auctions is to get something at the bottom of a the curve rather than significantly below market.
I didn't need one for buying a single vehicle for myself. Not sure what the rules are if you are doing something else like buying multiple cars for a dealership.
It's holding up great. It's at 60,000 miles now so I've put 22,000 on with a year of ownership. No repairs required yet and it has been 100% reliable. My only issues have been looks. The paint is faded on hood and rubber moulding is dried out and susceptible to cracking. Easy fixes.
This was very informative. Thank you for taking the time and making this video.
Glad you found it informative!

Thanks for posting this - I’ve been interested in the process
Glad to hear someone got something out of it.
I just bought 2 GSA cars and I didn’t have to pay any sales tax cause they were exempt from sales tax. Maybe it changed now for 2024.
Muchas gracias 👍

Do you need a auction license for this website ?

I saw several 2013/14 f150 trucks just like yours in FL GSA auction. How’s your truck holding up/ reliability?
