Awesome video series which the TH-cam algorithm recommended to me this morning. Just finished watching all four videos, and thoroughly enjoyed the transformation from the 'stock' tamiya tiger to a superb version which Michael Wittmann commanded at Kursk and the Eastern Front in 1943. He was KIA in Tiger 007 which was a late model Tiger in Normandy in September 1944.
bob what a beautiful job !! and thank you for all of the pointers as you go along much appreciated !! i am so ready to see what your going to do with the hemtt i think your going to twist my arm into getting one for myself
I watched all 4 videos and loved every minute. I think I missed something though. Did you use the stock motor or use a 55 motor like you recommend in the tamiya big rigs for a more realistic driving speed?
It is a cake decorating turntable from Amazon. They are cheap and work great! There are several different types. I like this new one: smile.amazon.com/PMLAND-Heavy-Turntable-Rotating-Stand/dp/B07532JKZ5/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=cake+decorating+turntable&qid=1575134530&s=electronics&sr=1-7
wow bud you got the skills to pay the bills 8-) now time too load it up on the hemtt's.. I got both hg's also.. Are you plan on weathering or cammoing one of the hg's? I purchased the light kits, sound and a 2nd hgp802 conversions kit too paint and add onto the hgp801 8-)
Yes, I am going to do a painting and detailing video on the HEMTT. Also building a trailer for it. Couple of other small projects first then the HEMTT.
Very nice build , looks good. But I think you got the wrong number on the tank if it's Michael Wittmans tiger. And missing the zimmerit. But I love the tiger tank. I am building a 1/16 from hobby boss. His
Depends on which of his Tigers. This should be the correct number for this Tiger from that period. No pictures of it exist so don't know for sure if it had zimmerit or not.
@@HobbyconceptsLLC . I not trying to put down your work. Because I like very much what you did. It's just ,that I am building Wittmans last tiger ,the number 007. And from my research in the Normandy campaign. He drove number 222 and 007. But I could be wrong , because info is limited and sometimes confusing. But again great build ,I love the Tiger !!!
