    One small element I really appreciated . . . the white bowls in your stowage. They look incredibly interesting and ultra-authentic!

      Those were a spontaneous idea... like, what else could I 3D model and print? Bowls, I could paint them white and add some rust and chipping (chipping everywhere!)

      a thin layer of Elmers glue, will look like water when dried.

      Proper wet effects fluid would be probably a better idea than wood glue :)

    Love your stuff, Night Shift. Outstanding work as always. I have the answer to your observation about bright silver weld lines and why they didn't rust.....armour plate was welded with stainless steel. Ordinary steel welds would crack as they cooled. For some reason, stainless steel does not crack when used to weld armour plate.
    Keep up the good work.

    I think that gorgeous wooden stowage box is going to fall off the tank, along with the tarp on top of it.

    I think those yellow stripes on the old version were quite interesting, of course this restored version is superior. Awesome video as always.

      Yeah, they were inspired by a not-so-accurate camouflage profile from some Polish publication. I kinda wanted to do the same camouflage all over again, but everyone on Patreon agreed on a plain grey camo :)

    Always a pleasure. I'm able to get a cloth surface texture on plastic or resin by dry brush. To give it a raised blanket thickness past this level a real rust coating to then dry brush over.

      @@SuperDeinVadda for me personally it used to be the fear of missing out. like, what if the kit won't be available anymore? and also planning ahead... so when I already had the kit, I could also order tracks, photoetch etc. Nowadays I don't buy that many new kits and when I do I usually build them immediately (that was the case with the BMR-3M)

    Pimp mien panzer sounds like a cool show where they save abandoned rusted tanks and restore them then add in stereos and massaging seat for the whole crew and a nice paint job

    You're right about rust effects on Panzer grey and that's why I found getting the rust effects on my mill scale T-34 to be so easy.

    The switch at the end from the old paint job to the restoration created a kind of optical illusion for me. The increased detail and restraint on the individual effects made it look like it was a larger scale model.

    i would like to see you build a danish centurion, they were a little different to the ones the brits used, amongst other things they did was to add a bustle rack made in denmark. or perhaps an m41 walker bulldog, again with the danish modifications. they had a very distinct bustle rack and an IR spotlight, they also tended to wrap camo netting around the barrel and turret. i think it would be a cool project for a man of your skill :)

      The turret basket is inside the tank.

    While I'm unaware of your stance towards Warhammer 40k stuff, I'd really love to see your take on on one of the tanks in WH40k. The really cartoony proportions of the tanks in the game combined with your insane realistic detailing could be really fun.

    Interesting order on the green canvas painting. I always went the opposite way when painting miniatures. I'd go darkest up to lightest...buuuut, my steadiness sucks, so I would always mess it up if I tried going light to dark.
