Another quick tip. Vantage will follow Echo EVERYWHERE he goes. So if you’re jumping towards Echo, you can recall him and it’ll cut your jump short significantly. It could be useful if you want a smaller jump but can also really mess you up if you accidentally recall him mid jump.
I don't know if this is common knowledge but highlighting enemies, where it shows their shields, who ever you're aiming at will be the left most icon on the target bar. You might see (purple, white, blue) so the enemy you're looking at has purple shield. I use this to try and down the lowest shielded enemy
Another cool thing about Vantage is that the circle in the center of the scope changes position with distance. That means, your sights will tell you how to shoot to account for bullet drop. This makes it easy to snipe from crazy distances, just place the circle over the enemy
@@isonavi23adjust using the tick marks on the horizontal lines on the scope. That's used for movement/speed. This is also good for wind (if that is a factor inside apex)
Your passive will work on an enemy at a maximum distance of 350m, but the bullet drop indicator is indefinite as long as your crosshair hovered on an enemy. I have gotten a 893m down on a random afk player from Survey Camp to Overlook on World's Edge. It isn't really useful but if you like annoying your enemies and shooting them from across the map, here ya go

id like to point out that you can pressure teams just by pointing the sniper’s lazer at them even if you don’t have an angle to shoot (only do this if they already know what legend you’re playing)
With the increased use of bang I think vantage will see increased use. Because she's the only legend who can see enemies in smoke with mid-range weapons. Imagine having a bang smoke the enemy team then vantage can unload into them without them being able to shoot back effectively

Wow i cant believe they nerfed her ADS shield recon ability. Now you cant communicate it with your team anymore even. How is she still in recon class if she has zero recon abilities besides hitting them and knowing what shield they have? Every other legend can do that too with shield/hit markers which tells you what color shield they are wearing.. So what in the heck??

When is the right time to use the sniper ult or to just use like ur primary Ar for example in the mid range because you could do more damage by just beaming with an R301?
It’s a bit late but what I like to do is either at the start of a fight, or early into it, to use her ult to deal first damage and apply the dmg buff and than push in with AR.
Here's my two ideas on how they could make vantage good first you could either make the charge for the jump to echo faster or make the cool down a little faster but those are if you want a more mobile vantage I want echo to be able to use echo location wherever u place hm shorter then bloodhounds scan enemies can shoot at echo like 1 or 2 bullets then he flies back to u showing them your location and I want the lazer gone on the sniper
I don't see the point on having that laser on the sniper, it's not that strong of an ability let alone a ultimate one, why would it need such a bad side effect
how does pinging an enemy give you and your teammates bonus damage points? Still confused on that. If you ping an enemy with vantage,does it give your team extra damage if they shoot the pinged enemy? If so,how much more damage ? Numbers?? These were my questions. You didn't really answer them,no offense.
Pinging enemies by shooting them with your ultimate gives you and your teammates a damage boost equal to a head shot in any part of the body, as well as a multiplier on headshots on top of the one you Alr have by default on any headshots
There needs to be a way to switch from meters to feet. I hate the metric system bc it's too mathematical. The imperial system makes it far easier to picture the distance. It's easier to picture 8 feet vs 10 meters for example.
This is only because you are used to feet. Use meters for a bit and you will figure it out. Try using them irl for a bit, just for visual distances. Once you are used to meters it is a much more intuitive system, no conversion factors. That is why the US military uses meters.
Making this guide made me play so much more vantage! So under rated and has so much potential!

What if enemies run quite fast, should I hit by em at towards?

If you fall from a drop ship or anywhere high up, the moment you fall you can place echo to get you back to height quickly

If you need to close distance throw echo more to the ground so you’ll move to where needed without being in the air as a target

Yes but the blue circle in her scope will show you the bullet drop. Basically shoot when the blue circle is on the target

Alot of teams will peak when they see your laser. Then challenge you to a sniping duel. NOT recommended.. but please.. keep doing it
