As a British person who just got into American Football (well, four years ago), it greatly fills me with joy to see a stadium absolutely rammed with Americans losing their minds over “soccer”.
The atmosphere at the Park was loud and amazing! Everyone was on their feet for the last 15 minutes, except the NYC away fans lol! It rivaled a Premier League match, and I have been to an Arsenal game at the Emirates! Just a week ago Premier League Mornings Live was in Philadelphia and it was filled to capacity.
Union clearly wanted it more; NYCFC fell asleep after scoring and the flood gates opened within 10 minutes afterward. Union had more drive and stayed focus hence why they won.
Was nice to see Sean Johnson get torched for 3 quick goals. Never seen a goalie time waste and s-thouse more than he does. Awful positioning on the last one and he almost fumbled another one into the net.
I really hate the salary cap. MLS players are being paid way too low. There are also low income. MLS requires every team to play at least 70 games. And the minimum payroll should be around $35 million.
100% a ball dont lie game. NYC didn't deserve to be in the MLS cup last season when almost all the Union players were out with COVID during the conference final. They still almost lost that game too though. I'm still salty that match wasn't rescheduled. Vengeance is nice too though. 😈

Both teams finished the season tied on points. LAFC had more wins, but Philly's goal differential was like 18-20 goals higher than LAFC. I think you're overrating LAFC.

I don't know about all that if we putting shots on goal LA's keeper isn't going to stop all of them. Outside of Blake Johnson was the second best keeper in all of MLS we put 3 by him. All I can say for sure it's going to be a good one. Union or Die 🐍
