That’s the only downfall right now. HD mesh deck is 3-4 months out. I got this one & immediately ordered another. The HD mesh makes a world of difference with over tire straps.
Coming from a guy that hauls everyday that mesh will not last. Cars tend to loosen them up and break the mesh also driving over it over again will destroy it in time.
How do you get in & out of gas stations with that trailer? They don't have nowhere the room diesel pumps have...like at truck stops. I'm asking, because I'm about to put my 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 (gas powered) to work with a trailer like that.

Have a question. Just subscribed to you. Can you do freight also under that insurance. Where do you get your loads and also being new to it will brokers trust me
You can be insured for anything. I am insured for both because I run cars & my drivers run cars and freight. Small premium for both but worth it. Lots of brokers will not work with new authorities for 3-6 months. I would say lease in to someone. Get your authority & let it sit idle for about 6 months.
@@HotshotJimmy got you. Appreciate it!!! One more question if you dont mind. Do you have to have insurance for your authority to be active or I can get it and let it just sit for 6 months
@@teamwork84 Insurance is required for it to be active. However brokers go based off age. Letting it sit idle with no insurance for 6 months can’t hurt. During that time, keep your current job or lease on to someone else to learn the ropes.
Are you kidding me....a tundra pulling all that... by dot standard it has to be over loaded...hell I've only seen 2500 350 450 on load's like this....👀
These loads are at most 11k-12k. Not as much as you think. Trailer is very light. 10.2k bumper capacity. No stated GN capacity by Toyota. B&W, Curt, & other manufacturers make the kit. Usually close to GVWR. 275k later.
@@HotshotJimmy you are most likely over payload... Doesn't matter if Toyota doesn't specify a max gooseneck capacity lol. Are you less than your max rear GAWR and GCVWR? Probably not.
@@bijk1911 I’m often close to rear GAWR. Payload is irrelevant. Truck manual GCWR is irrelevant, do you know why? The average 1 ton has a 30-40k GCWR, going by those standards you would need a CDL. Only your physical combo of truck & trailer GVWR matters.
I have mixed feelings about them, I certainly don’t like some of the build quality issues I’ve had. I ended up stripping paint to add more welds in places I had cracking & breaking issues. But in general it has worked decent.
Nice! I wish we would have got the mesh flooring!

If you’re moving your personal cars no.

What’s the pin weight with 2 cars loaded?
Sweet setup! Are you still towing with the tundra?
No, I sold it about six months ago.
How does the tundra handle pulling the trailer with the load. I am looking to get a 2 or 3 car trailer
2 car trailer is definitely the maximum for the truck. Any bigger or heavier & it will have issues.
