- Making a miniature confetti cake using polymer clay. I added headpins to the cake slices so you can make them into earrings, or charms if you'd like. The cake itself can also be made into a ring, by gluing it to a ring base.

Oh gosh i miss this channel so much. I watched literally all of the videos when i was a kid
Nicole Paz WORDDD
Same and I bought polymer clay to make my own food creations. Few years later, I'm like I should do it again and I'm planning to buy the supplies again😂
Toni, you have inspired me into making polymer clay charms and things. You have the best tutorials I've ever seen. I love how you are so specific with everything and say everything nice and clear so I can understand. You are my role model. Thanks for all you do and keep being awesome!
where did you get the cake stand? Please answer
Thanx!
So amazingly talented. She makes it look effortless! If she hasn't made a book by now, I would be surprised. Everything looks so real and edible!
All of your charms you make are so good!
Thanks for the tutorials!
Beautiful! Love your tutorials and charms! Absolutely stunning!
it looks so delicious! I saw this cake mix in the store and wondered if anyone ever made it into a miniature, and here it is!! thank you for sharing!!
Toni, you are probably the best clay person out there! You make everything so perfect! YOUR AMAZING!
Thank you:D I use a Canon Rebel XSi with a 18-55mm lens...it took me forever to figure out how to use it, but I love it now:D
Love it! The music is sweet too! Thanks again for an awesome tutorial!
i first subscribed to you when i saw your cane tutorials, then you stopped for a while, or at least it seemed. but now youre rigt back on it! ahha i absolutly LOVEEE your tutorials, by far if not the best your up there!!
Wonderful! What a great tutorial, clear instructions and good lighting and video. Nicely done, would love to see more :)
this is my favorite tutorial of your so far :D i LOVE confetti cakes!
Definitely check their locations first, but you can also buy from them online:) Or you can make your own by using an empty soda can & tape. I could make a video if you like?
Your Minis are truly amazing!!
I Love your cakes and clay charms!
WOW! I love these tutorials
Me too! I was drooling over the pictures!!
AWWW! You are so welcome!! I'm so glad you like them:D
so pretty and cool looking!
what would you recommend the most as frosting? using liquid clay or white silicone?
Oooohhhhhhh your food clay charms look sooooo realistic and it makes me hungry!!!!
Great video well done Toni but why did you put yellow chalk on the cake if you covered it in frosting
Simply amazing tutorial! :D and instead of chopping white clay then adding tls, you can just simply put acrylic on the tls. Your amazing Toni!
Yep:) Just make sure you bake it on a low temp. You don't want to fully cook it...you just want it to get hard enough so that you can hold it:)
Oh, alright! Let's all love her creations together!! Yay!
This is the cutest polymer clay cake I have seen by far!!! (and I have seen lots!)
What do u use the rest of the cake for after ur done cuting off the slices? Im confused...
LOOKS SO REAL!
So in all did you bake it 3 times? Once for the cake itself, once for the outside frosting, and then once for the top frosting?
U make it look so real love it!
ADORABLEEE!
This is so cute and the colors are awesome!! :D
How do you texture your cakes? I use a swirling motion, which works, but I want to give it more of a soft texture, as opposed to an extremely crumbly texture that mine usually have. Should I just do it more gently, or is there a special way you do it?
Such a cute little cake! Thanks for the tutorial :)
Nom nom!!!!! You're so talented!!!!!
Do you think that instead of using liquid clay you could use sculpey's bake and bond?
What if you want to make them into stud charm earings would you just glue the post on to the charm ?
Btw, you do a fantastic job on your videos & I enjoy watching them Toni!
wat kind of clay do you use like fimo or sculpey or premo or wats the best for beginners
Thanks:D I saw the Duncan Hines mix in the grocery store, made a real one, then was determined to make a mini one:D The real ones are so yummy:D
one more question... can we use tls or will it look better with the type you are using?
You have to press, and mush the clay until it get smooth. It can take a while depending on what kind of tool your using. The smaller you cut up the clay pieces the easier it will be to mix up smoothly:D
Whhy do u mix polymere clay pieces with the liquid sculpey for the topping and do. U have to do tht
i wanted to know if you can put the cream on when its not baked:)
The liquid polyclay , can i use sculpey bake & bond instead ? Plz reply !!
If I'm ever in Australia we will HAVE to do a meet-up! Hopefully sooner rather than later:D That would be so awesome!!!!
This is a really great tutorial! I am making this right now!
thanks for the reply :) im using fimo which is very soft so im gonna go look for a different brand or something ;)
I find letting the clay sit for a few minutes in the katpolyclay helps soften it and then a lot of constant mixing will give you the frosting texture. It takes a bit of time at least the way I do it but the result is really good.
great tutorial! I know how to make cakes but never thought of confetti! Thanks
Your videos are so professional and the music sets a good mood for the veiwers. you make the mopst professional vids. ive EVER seen you youtube
Awesome charm. I'm defenatly trying this. But when you do the icing. Do you do the sides then bake it then ice the top and bake it again. Cause mine always turn out so messy haha.
how do you keep your work space soo clean?
If you bake it more than on e it doesn't burn right?
OMG!!! it looks sooo tasty!!!
Will your charm burn if you keep putting it back in the oven over, and over again?
i love your work ..you are awesome...i tryed to make a cake but my clay keep sticking to each tool i use...when i cut the slices the shape of the round cake ruined so as the layers mixed together and it looked ugly -.- what should i do :(
this is my favorite kind of cake in real LIFE!!! thank you!!
I know!
thats really simple and easy! where can u get the pastel chalks???
where did you get your blade? >.<
and do u do polymer clay on ur counter?!
I know:( I uploaded Wolfsbane in something like 26 hours! I'm working on the next one as I type:D It will be uploaded tonight...PROMISE!!
Super clean and neat thanks for the tutorial :D
can you use silicone for the frosting?
Can you use salt dough?
could u make this with air dry clay
I'm so happy that you are making videos again! I just love your videos! They are just awsome! :D
Perfect. Lovely. Thank you for the video.
what tool did you use to cut the slices and where did you get it
I also forgot to ask where did you get your circle cookie cutter and about how big is it? thank you!
These are the CUTEST !
Your confetti cake looks so real! :)
Can you make it all and then bake it instead of baking it separately with other things
great idea! or you can use light brown colored makeup , i use it for my clay creations and it works great
OMBIEBER! you are truley amazing!!
Just a question, why do you always use transluscent clay with your regular colors? Thanks. I have learned so much from your videos and made several items that were easier than what I was doing. Looking forward to more!
Lovely confetti cake! Looks yummy! And i agree ur voice is soothing. some people constantly clear there throat or smack their mouth lol and u do and we appreciate that too lol!!!
That's such a cute idea! I would turn the rest of the cake into a matching necklace to wear with the earrings :)
what other liquid can you use to make the frosting?
where did u buy the mini cake stands
i just had a toni ellison videos marathon :)
I'm sure the first two can be found at Michael's Craft Store, but I have yet to find the clear gel there.
OMG THIS IS SO CUTE I LOVE ALL YOUR CAKES
i know that you bake it, its polymer clay but the water dosent go hard now does it?
What is the paste that u use 4 make the cakes
I don't have liquid clay. Will clear silicone mixed with white acrylic paint work?
I don't know why but i just LOVE how this cake looks! :D And I was wondering instead of mixing clay and liquid clay, could you mix clay and TLS?
just a question wut's the point of adding the pastel if it's covered
Can you put everything on it and then bake it?
awesome! I made this and it turned out great! Only one thing: you said we could mix white clay with water for the frosting, but it didn't work. I just used white paint and gloss
so you can rebake the cake with the icing after you've already baked the actual cake??
Y do u put chalk if u cover with frosting??
When you see it up close it just make it look more realistic because the edges of the cake and the bottom look brown and baked:D It's hard to see in the pictures, but in person it just looks super real:D But it is optional:)
so realistic !!!! im hungry for cake now ... AMAZING !!!!
How you get the cake stand
I just love ur creations
can you use premo clay also
how do you cut the slices so easily? every time i cut them it stretches the clay
omg i love your channel i watched mostley EVERYTHING you posted because there sooooo good im not trying to sound creepy or anything but just telling you how AWESOME you are!
