  • Making a miniature confetti cake using polymer clay. I added headpins to the cake slices so you can make them into earrings, or charms if you'd like. The cake itself can also be made into a ring, by gluing it to a ring base.

  • @ToniEllison
    @ToniEllison  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yep:) Just make sure you bake it on a low temp. You don't want to fully cook it...you just want it to get hard enough so that you can hold it:)

    How do you texture your cakes? I use a swirling motion, which works, but I want to give it more of a soft texture, as opposed to an extremely crumbly texture that mine usually have. Should I just do it more gently, or is there a special way you do it?

    one more question... can we use tls or will it look better with the type you are using?

  • @ToniEllison
    @ToniEllison  12 ปีที่แล้ว

    You have to press, and mush the clay until it get smooth. It can take a while depending on what kind of tool your using. The smaller you cut up the clay pieces the easier it will be to mix up smoothly:D

    I find letting the clay sit for a few minutes in the katpolyclay helps soften it and then a lot of constant mixing will give you the frosting texture. It takes a bit of time at least the way I do it but the result is really good.
